Overall a cool venue to see music, although it could be improved. I love the concession area which almost feels like a theme park with numerous booths winding through a wooded area. Many places to get drinks (for a high price, but that's expected).
The seats are old, small, hard plastic. Not as bad as the old seats at Fenway but close. Of course at some shows you'll be standing/dancing most of the time, but you're still pretty close to your neighbor.
Sound is decent for this type of venue.
I find it strange that the cameras they use to show the live performers seem to be from 1984 and super low-res, but the ads they show between sets are modern HD. (Yes, ads between sets... is nothing sacred anymore?)
They need to add more variety of food, especially for vegetarians! I saw cheese pizza on the menu at one place but did not get a look at it. Other than that, just French fries and "nachos" (literally a bag of Tostitos with one small container of cheese dip and one of salsa ... some assembly required)! They do allow you to bring in a zip-lock bag of snacks (not sure what they allow in that) so that may be best if you don't eat meat.
A better area for rideshares would also be nice (and help discourage drunk driving).

What am awesome night, as always is the case at Great Woods- aka The Xfinity Center. Great venue, great seats- anywhere in house are good seats, IMHO!! And when the whole audience rocks the house-- amazing vibes abound!!! Get your tickets and just go!
