A very beautiful historical mosque built in 1548. The interior of this mosque is particularly beautiful with all its colored glass windows. There are few graves and tombs inside the mosque.

The view is fabulous from the outside because of the lights all over the mosque. Small but so humble and spiritual from the inside. Has many markets and cafes around, transportation is also available whether buses, boats or taxis. The toilets are dirty and smelly.

I saw many local people and cats relaxing in this mosque. More local Turkish people than tourists. I was thinking about mihrimah sultan while sitting on a bench with a cat.

Very beautiful mosque. The stained glass is particularly special in this mosque. We really enjoyed our peaceful visit.

Stimmungsvolle Moschee im Stadtteil im asiatischen Teil Istanbuls Üsküdar, direkt am Bosperus.

Located on busy hub of Uskudar, this mosque is lovely as her maker, Mimar Sinan. This looks alike Mihrimah Sultana Mosque in Europe side of Istanbul, very feminine mosque 😁😁😁

Located just across the road from Uskudar ferry station on the Asian/Antolian side of Istanbul and commissioned by the daughter of Sultan Suleiman the magnificent in early 1540's, MIHRIMAH SULTAN MOSQUE(also called Iskele mosque) was designed by famous Ottoman chief architect"Mimar Sinan" & completed in year 1548.
