It's really small but it's free and just a block away from the visitor's center anyway. It's housed in an historic bank building and you can see it all in about 5 minutes. Friendly folks here.

Full experience just wish they had a more social Network as far as community and online but I do not know how to get that to happen and I do not know how to remove the people that are removing that from this great customer community... Points of view

As a Shreveport native we are so lucky to have this gem in our city! It’s the oldest building downtown and there’s so much to learn about inside! Staff are super friendly and helpful if you want to learn more about something on display. Definitely recommend checking out if local or traveling!

Nice little museum with a plethora of history. I went with my family and we all had a wonderful experience. The guy over the museum was very friendly. He saw that I was into photography and recommended a few other spots to take photos. I will definitely return. I forgot to mention it's free too.

Highly suggest this museum if you are in the Shreveport area. They are very knowledgeable about the artifacts and history of the area. I enjoyed my time there so much I intend to go back before I leave town.
