One of the beautiful places in between the forest trees. Located at the bank of southwestern pacific ocean. Gives a huge amount of positivity and good energy to get rid of hectic canadian life. Stones are slippery and saw some people getting injured so be very careful while exploring the area. The route to the lighthouse and heritage building were closed when we visited. Anyways nature is at best and you will find black globs, basalt fragments and epidotes near the ocean stones.

We enjoyed strolling through the park down towards the lighthouse. Walking paths covered by large trees which provided ample shade from the sun and heat. We were able to see the lighthouse from an outcropping. We really enjoyed the walk, taking in the beautiful trees. Warning, bathrooms at end of path are closed, plan accordingly. You can see the city of Vancouver in the distance.

Attractive feature in the park! The ocean view is amazing and you can see the cityscape of Vancouver. Fresh air and good little hike around the park with all kind of stunning scenes for photo. Free parking available, public washroom, table and benches. Dog friendly.

Its worth a visit to view it from the public viewing area . The general public can't access the lighthouse itself unless its a open public event or something like it . The original lighthouse was wooden in 1875 and got replaced in 1914 by the present lighthouse we see today . The present lighthouse was built in 1914 on granite boulders jutting out into Burrard Inlet in West Vancouver, Canada. The concrete structure was considered at the time innovative in lighthouse design. It is now automated and still in use .

Fantastic spot for views of the ocean, park, and lighthouse. The trails can get a bit confusing, so best to find some of the maps to align. It's very easy and short walking trails.

Awesome park- lots of interesting trails to walk through, especially if you have a dog. Climb up the cliffside to get an amazing view of the entire bay. The lighthouse is worth the effort to go down and photograph, but the area was closed off when I visited so had to settle for a far off shot. But definitely worth a visit for the hikes.

Great place to hike, pretty easy.
There is plenty of parking and the main trail is exceptionally easy, almost an unpaved road.
There are a few trails that can take you around the parkland. These trails are a little narrower but still easy enough for anyone to do. Good place to get out and just enjoy the view. Or there are park benches if you want to take the family for a picnic.
