Saw excellent production of “The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui” some weeks back. Interesting Golem display in the foyer. Lovely local theatre with well stocked bar and friendly chatty staff. A gem.

The local amateur theatre tucked away in the historic Old Fire Station is an absolute hidden gem. You won't believe the quality of their performances - they put on plays with so much heart and skill, it's like watching pros on stage.
Don’t believe me just go and see any show! They have one one every two weeks!!

And most importantly it is a community that you can get involved with 🤍

Great theatre venue that hosts a variety of plays throught the year, the auditorium is compact with not a bad seat to be found.
There's a volunteer run bar downstairs for drinks and snacks pre show and interval. The staff where very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a great night out.

Watched, the Last of the Pelican Daughters. It was a excellently directed and performed piece at the local South London Theatre. We dnjoyed a drink and snacks at the interval and met the team afterwards. The venue is well kept and the staff were kind and hospitable. It was such an excellent event, we will go back to watch more plays. A perfect night out in South London ✨️

A wonderful small theatre right next to west Norwood station. The building itself is rather impressive itself and internally it is rustic and fits in with the building itself. The bar downstairs was welcoming and homely and despite an issue with their cellar, they had a reasonable selection available.

The auditorium has a good rake on the seating meaning that I didn't feel too subconscious that I was blocking the person sitting behind me, but not too steep that it makes it a bad viewing angle for the audience. I will definitely be adding this to the list of theatres I keep an eye out on what's going on at.
