Would someone PLEASE buy this house, they people who own it are HORRIBLE custodians of the property. The condition of the house is tragic!! Ugh!!

Not open to the public and on a side street near Bayou St. John, this crumbling mansion that is now somehow subdivided into eight apartments sits tucked in on what was once a 30 acre property. A shining example of Italianate architecture, it is definitely worth the short walk from City Park.

Cool spooky looking mansion. If you're lucky, an octogenarian neighbor who goes by the handle Chris Boone will tell ya everything you'd care to know about the mansion...and other things too.

Found the mansion from an article read previously. It's really sad how it's fallen in such bad shape. You can still picture it in its regal beauty when it had acres and acres of grounds and how beautiful it must've been back then. Now it's surrounded by a neighborhood with bad streets but still worth a stop to gaze and imagine what it must've been like back then.

Old mansion (1850s) with interesting history. Off the beaten track. The man with no shirt is a neighbor who came out to tell the story. Off Esplanade.

The property is fascinating however visible from the street only.

This is a private resident and not a place to visit. No tours and the residents aren't welcoming.
