Very good food and prices. Go upstairs and see all the other semana santa memorabilia on display.

Very down to earth tapas bar ideal for a quick one by the bar and go to the next one

We had two glasses of Ribeira and house croquettes all good!

Very local restaurant, there was no foreigners except us, so i really liked it ! No EN menus, but for me it is a plus :) VERY afordable prices, great service and unique interior. Thank you!

We passed by this place a few times and wondered about the long queues in front of it. Finally, we decided to join the queue and see/taste for ourselves.

Fast professional service, good food and good wine. The food was not particularly sophisticated, but generous portions and had a homely feel to it. Try for yourself. :)

The atmosphere of Semana Santa was indeed interesting, but the food and the service was not that good. The waiter forgot about one of the meals we ordered, when we notified him - after having eaten all of our other food and waiting for a few more minutes if it comes or not - he apologised and brought the food quite quickly, but I would expect to get us something extra, maybe offer a free drink or whatever. This felt very unprofessional. Other than that, I experienced much tastier gambas al pil pil in other restaurants. Also since it is quite common for restaurants in Málaga that they bring you bread, I also thought this would be the case here. No bread has been brought and also no recommendation that we should order a side-dish... Overall, I left dissatisfied.

Ordered 4 Tapas including Gazpacho soup which I was kind of expecting them to bring first (don't know what the proper order is though)

The fried pimientos de pardon they brought were great with big pieces of salt and a hefty portion size. I also liked the croquettes, although there could have been more of them and less processed potato chips.

Sidenote, why are those so popular in Spain and Portugal as a side dish? When I go to a restaurant and order a meal, I want a freshly prepared set of ingredients, not a lady to reach into a bucket to put a few stale chips on my plate.

Gambas al pil pil were not so good, bland taste compared to other restaurants, almost couldn't taste the garlic. We also got no bread or crackers or anything to bite down with the oily shrimps.

After a while, I asked about the Gazpacho which first confused the waiter, after which he admitted and apologized for his own mistake - so we expected some kind of compensation.

Nothing came except for a glass of bitter Gazpacho and the check.

We saw a surly tattood waiter stood outside down a side street and thought it looked good so decided to try it. Food was outstanding. Tasty tapas, Generous delicious glasses of red wine. The next day we went to a bar but they were shutting so the waitress took us to their other bar.....which was this same one so we thought why not. Tried some dishes I'd seen someone eating the night before. Again all delicious.
We try not to do the same place twice. We are glad we did....and would again.
