Friendly staff who provided on time service. Ambiance is nice and cozy. I booked a mani, pedi and facial as part of my husband’s birthday treat and he felt the overall experience and services were just ok. He felt the specialists could have used better techniques and more attention to details as he is used to at other spas.

The spa is small but the people are super friendly. Very timely with services. My masseuse Titus was great and worked to provide everything i needed. I booked the custom massage and pedicure both services were grea
Treated my mom here for her birthday, our services included the gel manicure and signature pedicure. The staff were friendly assisting with check in. There’s a cute room you go in to relax before your nail technician/masseuse come and get you. I recommend you make a reservation, there are only two chairs to accommodate you for nails. I do wish the chairs were similar to the chairs I am use to when I go to other nail spas , the ones that massage your back. But even still I enjoyed myself the staff and technicians were very nice and I was able to relax. I recommend you visit.

Latoya is the G.O.A.T. with the service and the pedicures. Hands down the best pedicure I’ve ever had. Only thing I would change is the ability to have wine/drinks delivered to the spa. We had to keep going downstairs to the bar for a glass a wine which took away from the experience.

My friends and I had the absolute best experience! Naiyah was the sweetest person you will ever meet, and she made our entire experience amazing! We were celebrating my upcoming wedding and having a bridal party relaxation day and couldn’t ask for a better place to go. The spa is gorgeous! The Oasis Lounge is dreamy and relaxing! The massage therapists were wonderful! We all highly recommend the Spa at the Wharf and hope to come back soon ourselves.

I had the absolute worst experience at this spa. If you are looking for great customer service, a staff that cares about your experience, professionalism, and a relaxing massage then this is NOT the place for you.

Myself and two of my friends went for a 12:00 appointment to get three 50 minute massages. We each arrived BEFORE 12:00 and were greeted and given paper work to sign. After signing we waited in the lobby for about 15 minutes, as instructed, for a staff member to come get us and show us to the changing room. Once changed (approximately 5 minutes later) we were taken to the lounging area where we each were greeted by our massage therapists. Once I was in the room I was told that I was now almost twenty minutes into my session.. so since I wasn't on time my massage would be cut short. It was made clear to me at that point that apparently my clock started right at noon and it was then 12:18.

I voiced my issue and was naturally VERY upset that I arrived when I was supposed to and still would not receive the services I paid for. The response to my concern was cold and uninterested and I decided to try to enjoy the time that was left of my services since I would probably have to pay regardless.

When my very short 25 to 30 minute massage was complete, I was escorted to the lounge area where one of my friends met me. She had the same rushed and upsetting experience. Our third friend, however, got her full 50 minutes and was content. It was certainly odd and added insult to injury to then realize that there was not a massage directly after ours that prevented us from getting our full service.

When we were back up front and expressed our issue to the staff, they were cold, unconcerned, and rude. One person told me "I guess next time we will see you on time".

1. I stayed at the hotel and came early. None of us were late.
2. There wont be a next time. I don't plan to be back and will encourage any and all people that I run into to choose somewhere else.
3. The near $600 we spent for two 30 minute massages and one 50 minute was a WASTE.

Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!

The Spa at the Wharf is truly a hidden gem in Washington, DC. I recently visited for a massage and it was one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences I have ever had. The spa is located in an idyllic waterfront setting and the ambiance is both peaceful and luxurious. The staff are all incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive to your needs. The massage therapist was incredibly skilled and attentive to my specific needs and the treatment room was comfortable and peaceful.
