Diligence Mackerel Trips

A great trip out for all our family. Was lucky enough to see a beautiful pod of dolphins on the way out and Matt kindly stopped the boat to allow us to admire them. Once at our fishing stop Matt did the best demonstration I’ve ever seen, pulling three fish out. We were spoilt with the amount of fish caught although most went back because they were young and Matt is clearly a responsible fisherman, we were lucky enough to catch some big enough to have for dinner. The boat was spacious and clean. Highly recommend this trip.

Fantastic way to spend 90 minutes in a beautiful part of the world with the wonderful Captain Matt who makes fishing accessible for all regardless of experience (my son and I had none) and his daughter Erin who was a fantastic help as well. We had a great laugh out on the boat and we even caught a couple of fish for our dinner. Cant recommend it enough, great activity for the whole family and excellent value for money. Thanks for having us.

Went for a mackerel fishing trip as a fathers day gift, and it was fabulous! Matt was great at teaching us what to do, and helped us catch 6 fat mackerels, with a quite a few smaller ones which we threw back into the sea. Highly recommend and hopefully will try again soon! PS. Our dog even was allowed on the boat and he loved it!

Fantastic fishing trip with Matt, friendly and knowledgeable skipper.. a lovely way to spend the afternoon, great for all ages and you get yo catch your own supper.

Great trip out to sea fishing for mackerel with my partner and collie. Matt was welcoming and helpful. Great value and experience. Caught lots of yummy fish for the bbq for tonight's dinner.

Had as great fishing trip with Matt. He's friendly and helpful and was great with our 2 kids. We got 8 mackerel and also saw dolphins!

Had a fantastic 3.30pm fishing trip with Mathew.
Loads of fun for all ages, caught plenty of fish .
Everyone had their bbq mackerel for tea.
Perfect for a muggy afternoon to cool down too and what fabulous views of Mevagissey and Gorran Haven from the boat.
Lovely bloke, definitely be back next week.
