I came to play bowling with my three friends and it wasn’t what we expected. We were put on the downstairs bowling area instead of tenpin after paying. Although it wasn’t what we wanted or payed for the lady at the counter was very understanding and gave us a refund with no hassle. Great customer service but the only thing I would say is to explain that if the tenpin is full to express that and tell you that you will be in the downstairs area that isn’t as enjoyable.

Paid £14 for me and my wife to play 10 pin. Scoring system didn't work properly. At first it didn't record the scores correctly, so I want and complained to the girl downstairs at the desk. She said that she would move us over to a different lane but that she couldn't reset the scores as the system wouldn't allow her to. So we went back to play on the new lane and the scores then didn't record at all.

Asked for a refund as we only played for about 5 minutes total and obviously the whole system is faulty. The girl rang her boss who then said they don't issue refunds they only give out vouchers. Fantastic. A voucher for broken bowling which I 100% will not be using in the future.

Thieves.

Would just like to add that the girl on the desk was very pleasant and the whole situation was out of her control. I blame the management/owners and the downright terrible maintenance of the place. There are too many places like this in Newcastle Town centre.

Excellent little bowling venue, much better than the huge noisy commercialised places. Only problem, all the 6kg bowling balls "had been stolen", so 9 year old struggled too much with the 8kg balls.
