Newcastle under Lyme Library

Newcastle has now become a town for the homeless and the down & outs and is fast becoming an uninviting town for a nice day unless you like cafes ......

In my opinion not the most of inviting of places to visit

Great library! I'd signed up online but wasn't sure how to get a physical card and the staff were extremely helpful. I picked up a little leaflet for the 'borrow box' service and I'm absolutely loving it!

library is very big and rich wid lots of books.i love going there

Good Library but Working of Library is really short in my opinion

Lovely library and essential community point. They run many groups for all ages and special days in school holidays too! Very well maintained and warm. Helpful and friendly staff but there's also self service machines to check books in and out really easily. There's colouring for the kids and puzzles for any age to do. Computers etc for those who need it.

Helpful staff. If you're not a member you can get a day pass to use the computer. You can print and do photocopying here but it's expensive.

Newcastle Library is a great place. Staff are always very helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Not sure about the reviewer who said she was told "they only serve the public" - that's not something they would say as it doesn't make sense! That's what they do! I suspect this reviewer is missing out a pertinent part of the conversation or totally got hold of the wrong end of the stick. These guys are so friendly and professional.
