Decent amusement park, not as good as Six Flags New England and the others, lines are as long as you'd expect, overall a nice park but it's definitely lacking in rides and is way smaller then it's counterparts
This park just needs more funding and new rides. Everything else was great on my last visit. The food was very good and priced well, but all of the coasters are at least 20 years old and are starting to show their age. I hope the new company with Six Flags and Cedar Fair will give this park the funding it needs to improve.
Our family had our first visit to six flags in Bowie today and the children bad a ball. We had an unseasonably warm 89 degree day in October - which meant the bees were on fireš²...but we made the best of it. My son absolutely loved all the big boy rides... my 7 year old loved the kiddie section and really enjoyed the rides and short lines. We will definitely be back again. My only criticism is the price of food - REDICULOUS. Bottled water $5.00. Funnel cake - $19! Insane... dippin dots was priced up as well... but we absolutely looooooved our day at Six flags DMVā¤ļø
Great experience!!! The staff for each ride were friendly and engaging. The park was clean and there was plenty of security to make it feel safe. We had a blast!!! Iām sure we will be back.
Very expensive and no water fountains. You have to purchase water at more than $4 per bottle.

Visiting six flags every year always comes with lots of fun. The best days to go are during the week, because it's less busy and lines are not long like during the weekend. Kids have a quick turnaround time to explore the park between 11-7. The only downfall during the week is that pricing on things seems different, and this is for food! The park itself has been around for more than 20 years, and some painting and remodeling could give it a big boost. You will enjoy yourself with family & and friends both in the amusement park and water park. It's fun for all ages.
Iāve been to this park five times in the past year, and Iāve had a great time on all of my visits. This park deserves more love! The staff is always very friendly, with a big focus on ride safety. Every meal Iāve had has been great too. The lines arenāt too long, and the ride collection is really great too. Be sure to catch a ride on Wild One, a 105 year old classic wooden coaster.
