The store is very clean and organized. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Love shopping here. The have a great little coffee shop/Cafe in the store. An extremely stress free establishment to get nearly all your shopping done.
This place is really quite big on the inside, and has everything you'd need for sporting goods/outdoors. I was able to find a jacket here that I couldn't find at the Cabela's in EGF.

A very good store that is employee owned and is based on family morals. The staff is incredibly helpful and willing to take the time to help you and answer any questions. I have shopped in three different stores and the service is the same at all of them. The selection of products is outstanding. I can recommend them to anyone looking for a great place to shop.
There was a department manager working in the firearms department who was very rude to me when I had questions regarding legality of purchasing a firearms. I’m not very pleased with his attitude and behavior when I was simply conversing with him. I’ve worked in retail for many years and been a department manager myself. This is not how you treat a customer, I will no longer be shopping at this store.
Great employees make a great store, which makes a great company. Scheels consistently provides a clean, safe shopping environment with knowledgeable and helpful employees. Today, I was part of an interaction that embodied Scheels employees' care for their customers. Our family of four (two littles under 2.5 years old) and our elderly chocolate lab visited the Grand Forks Scheels. An employee approached us and asked if he could gift our children two small stuffed labrador retrievers. This small act brought our two young children immense joy, but it says more about the company. Scheels empowers its employees to be part of what makes the company unique. This employee was authorized to give random small gifts to customers during the holiday season - and he brought a tremendous amount of joy to everyone (other employees and customers) through this small but incredibly thoughtful act of kindness and generosity. This employee was empowered to give random small gifts to customers during the holiday season. Thank you for your generosity, for bringing unexpected moments into this holiday season, and for being a positive part of our community.
Love how the company supports soldiers. And has a play place and games you can play while mom and dad shop. My kids got a free ice cream for showing the manager there was something broken. It was fix promptly! Encouraging my kids to help! Loved it!
