The fairgrounds are great but mesa county Needs to step it up to put a light on your American Flag. Honestly, its flying out there in the night. With no light on it. Wake up, please.
If you cherish your flag put a light on it

Beautiful little path with benches and informative signs about the trees. There are so many different species here and I imagine it's beautiful when everything is in bloom. Very well maintained area that was dog friendly and a treat to see the foliage.

The food was just OK. My husband had the ribs, but he said the BBQ sauce was awful. I had the Philly Cheese steak, but my steak was a little tough. The service was good, but for about $50 for both of us, including a 15% tip, we probably will not be returning.

We went to the Rock and Gem show. It was great to learn about all the different species of minerals and Crystal's. Next time it comes to Grand Junction we will be there will you? It was a great way to spend a day with the family.

Grand Junction does an amazing job with the up keep of all its parks. Enjoy walks at Lincoln Park, especially in the springtime when all the trees start blooming. The Rose Garden is especially beautiful.

This place is near my house so I walk there with my dog all the time. I love seeing it change throughout the year. I wish more of the plants were labeled but I have definitely learned from the ones that are labeled.

The 1st Grand Valley Scottish Games and Celtic Festival was held here, May 18-19, 2019. I was there as a vendor for Lalus Stained and Fused Glass. The fairgrounds have some camping spots you can reserve for $ which makes it convenient if your here for an event. We stayed here for the festival and the site has electricity and water, no sewer. The facility to get is great for horse events and the fields are really lovely.
