It is soooo soooo long and when we visited there were some decos and sounds for Halloween, my mum scared so much so we had to come back without finishing all the way haha. I enjoyed our time there with my family
Cardiff corporation asked Bute to use the outer walls as a War Shelters during ww2 and he agreed. Modifications made and a lot of people found protection from the bombs.
Eerie and creepy! My favourite part of the castle visit, would definitely recommend.
Really gives you an insider's view of war time. Must have been mixed emotions sitting in the shelter hearing the planes above.

Definitely a surprise whilst visiting the castle. Also very eerie with all the rain today! Would recommend a visit for people interested in WW2 history
