Visited Auckland Castle on Friday 22nd December
£10 per person admission
It was a very nice experience seeing the different rooms within the castle. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Aglow event. Really well organised and well thought out, lots to see and do for adults, children and even the dog! Yes, dog friendly! Always a bonus.
Staff were all friendly and directed us to where we needed to be, not too crowded as people are let in in stages so it breaks it up nicely.
We spent around 90 minutes here exploring and enjoyed food and drink, only £3.50 for a large hot chocolate which is fantastic for a large event and a relief when you have 4 children in tow.
We loved the fire pit and Santa show at the end also the hook a duck where everyone is a winner was a bonus.
The only thing that would have added a little more to the event is something a little more interactive in the middle such as music or an elf just to break up the walk for small children.

My only experience of visiting here was for the Christmas lights 'aglow'. They were fabulous. Nice and spread out, different themes along the way. Not too many people at once like some others I have been to it felt relaxed. Would book again if on next year. Dogs allowed. Food available.
Nice place for a walk through all seasons, it has a different nature identity when compared to other walking trails or public gardens, you can spot some squirrels. Down to the riverside you can enjoy the burble sound of the River.
