The bowl is fun, there are lots of places to grind, and it's big enough that everyone can skate and do their tricks without having to worry about waiting around or colliding!
Always a good time!

Great layout, ramps are a little rough from years of painting over graffiti and subsequent paint chipping. Good environment. Overall it's in great shape considering its age.

Sierra Junior Tennis Association is providing tennis lessons in the new tennis courts.

I grew up enjoying this park as a small child. I raised my own herd of kiddos in the same home and we all played in Burgess Park as well. My kids also played in childrens league sports on the diamond and in the BEAUTIFUL green grass....it's almost always green all year long!
Now it has changed a bit. I'm not so fond of the playground equipment, although it is modern enough. There's only one group of toys, I think.
Most of the activities are centered around the Skate Park... which was the VERY FIRST ONE BUILT in this area, I seem to recall. (followed by Sun Valley)
Anyway, its still a nice place to walk or bicycle to for a picnic or to play at.

Nice park. Nice for relaxing. Huge Skate park area. Small jungle gym for little kids. Mostly grassy fields, good place to take dogs.
