Nice park, descent size, fairly clean and new, a little for all levels but medium to higher levels can really benefit from this park.
The new park is a ton of fun! Never went to the old one, but the redesign made the park super smooth and it flows well!

Transitions are bad and the layout doesn't make sense.

Excellent remodel, by far the best park in DC. There are things to skate for skaters of all levels. The bowl is good as well. The park flows very nicely no need to push very much. No more hobos doing drugs which is nice.

Terrible, nothing really skateable, no flow. Next to a park so there are children everywhere. The gap is pretty much unskateable, since there is not enough room to get speed. And it the gap is too big for most skaters anyways.

This is not a skatepark or a "skate lab" whatever that means. It's just a bowl which is also too big for 99% of skaters. Only for advanced bowlskaters. Shaw skatepark is 1000x better
It’s an amazing place, with skate street and park in good condition. The only point is that the bowl time isn’t respected as it is related on the city hall website. The only employee closes it early by himself and somedays it’s closed when officially should be open.

Love this park I grew up in the area and I can honestly say I feel safe bringing my kids there.
Best park I've ever been too, amazing downrails, ledges and decent transition

Absolutely insane skatepark, the transition was massive and hard to skate but fun none the less, was in such a cool spot right on the water too, the locals rip
Great skatepark! Just go.

Dope park proabbly the best cement bowl for the city even tho there is now one at River Side park also but not as cool. this park is poretty buck for some things the street corse sucks but it is a cool park that you can skate mostly tho if you have any skill set this park is ment for transiton skateboarders.
Do not listen to the review saying the skate park isn't there. It's between 4th and 5th st next to the basketball courts
Bowl is awesome, but its never open. Why did the city build this? Always around: parks workers who yell at you for trying to use the bowl. Rarely around: parks workers who let you in to use the bowl. Pier 62 figured out how to make this work, can they do something similar?

Wakefield Park and the nearby trails are excellent for sports events, bike riding and hiking activities.

Terribly designed park. Most of the features are way too difficult for all but very advanced skaters. Unless you just like to kick turn on huge transitions. And no scooters allowed? Why? Came with my son (who rides a scooter) and he couldn’t ride.
Place had better days.
Hopefully this summer will go back there.

Oddly, the park does a fine job with mountain bike trails, but a TERRIBLE job linking the nearby Cross County Trail to the Audrey Moore Recreation Center?!
People are forced to cross over a single board plank in the marshland.
The new park is a ton of fun! Never went to the old one, but the redesign made the park super smooth and it flows well!

Stunning scenery and amazing flow. Best park in nyc for feel good skating.
I go here a lot. I take the A bus from union square park, and this place is so fun. People don’t care if you skate or scooter or BMX. The obstacles are good, but if you move things, people might get mad

Pier 62 Skatepark in Manhattan is known to be a popular spot for longboard skaters due to its smooth pavement, spacious layout, and variety of features to skate on. It's always a great feeling to find a spot that caters to your particular skating style, and being able to enjoy the freedom and exhilaration of longboarding in such a prime location.
It is no longer a skate park, the park management astroturfed the skatepark and turned it into a field to play sports like soccer or baseball.
Super fun obstacles. The ground has some spots that need repair but they’re avoidable. Overall really fun park.

Good and clean skate park with a very comfortable parking and a coffee place across the road.
Helmets at this skate park are advisable… unless you’d like to wind up a human paper weight with insurance denying your existence. Just saying though.
Wonderful skatepark, dog park, spray park, and great disabled friendly playground

I like the park. Is for experienced people, not for amateurs. But u still have some simply spots to play arround if u want to anyways enjoy this skatepark. I love the location, into a big park with lot of nature and in front of the sea. U can see the sunset from there. Is really exiting to know this skate park for first time. I’m looking forward to comeback anytime soon!!!

Large park with humongous transition. Seems like it was built for bikes. The bowl in the back is fun, but overall the park is too EXTREME!

Trippy graffiti skate bowl. Skate LYFE!
Ground is uneven and ramps are too close together. Many people prefer the old design of the skatepark and now the park sits empty most the time

Really nice park compared to the others. Nice smooth floors and lots of beginner to advance obstacles for all ages. Every time I go the people are great about taking turns and calling out when they go to make it even safer. My only dislike is the water fountain. It tastes nasty.
My 17yo grandson loved it.

This is a fantastic park in Annadale where there are tennis courts, softball fields, education centers, paved trails, and what I am interested in mountain biking trails. The local off-road/mountain biking club MORE did a great job building and maintaining about seven miles of mountain biking trails ranging from easy to intermediate. The trails meander through the park and include some technical features (bridges, log rolls), trails along the stream, and trails through the woods.
Fun, fun, fun with adequate parking and a feeling of security. So many activities for the kids and the water feature was enjoyable. Everything is modern ,clean and well taken care of. I Do highly recommend

This skatepark has actual thought and planning put into the design! Very small but also fun and challenging. I wish it were more accessible as it's very much hidden but still appreciate it
Excited for a beautiful day at the Skate Park, but disappointed to learn that it's been 80% disassembled as part of a fully funded, $1.2M renovation. Note that some older photos posted are now out of date....the renovation started with removal of the larger part of the park, in May 2022. As of 19 June 2022 the smaller "children's" part of the skate park is still open!!
Overall, a pretty garbage skate spot with horribly maintained grounds, lack of equipment and just ugly in general. There's only a couple obstacles and the ones that are there are super basic and boring, the ground is also cracked and completely slanted down hill. The only reason I don't give it a one star is because it does have one good feature which is that it's rarely ever crowded and is a good spot if you're self conscious and want to learn without everyone seeing you
The problem with this skatepark is that it’s an issue to get to and out from. No handicap Accessibility at 108th Street for those that live or visit in the neighborhood. You have to enter all the way down at 96th street. Not a fan on the location of this park. Last time I been to this park was 2001 and all this remodeling and not talks about fair entrance for all. NYCParks need to make a skatepark in Central Park “such a better park” hands down

Skate park is likely great for advanced rider but not really great for anyone else.

It’s very small and offer little other skating areas. It’s not easy to reach with public transportation, lacks real trash cans, I couldn’t find any restrooms nearby, no water fountains that I could find and seems to be overrun by teenagers who aren’t skating but blocking much of the skate area.

We came here as a launching spot for a walk, which I wouldn't fully recommend. The skate park and fields all looked well kept and families were out having fun-- so thumbs up to those amenities if that's your destination. But our purpose was to park and access the walking paths and I think there might be better places to start at. The paved path around the fields only links to the paved path along the creek via an unpaved, well worn, grooved dirt path. It's a short distance but not something a stroller or wheel chair or bike can handle easily. There is even a small stream to cross. Then once you get to the paved path in this area, it's not very scenic for a long stretch in both directions. Eventually, we made it to the wooded area where the path curves away from the power lines and there seem to be lots of great smaller trails winding through the wooded area.
We might come back but look for a different place to set off from to walk or bike the park.
The park was closed 🔐
Great local outdoor concrete skatepark. Lots or ledges and places to grinde. Great 4' halfpipe. Awesome bowl with an 8'&12' section.

It's a cool park. Pretty small, great for street skating. Has one small bowl that's great for beginners to learn how to pump and drop in. Good park for taking it easy and not doing to much extreme stuff.
I went at 2:30pm for lunch and it wasn't too busy, maybe a dozen people. I was able to find a parking spot right next to it.
My only critique is the floor around the bowl is very uneven. And I wish the hours were posted since it is a gated park with lights.
Overall, great park. If you find yourself in DC, you should swing by.

One of the best parks in the DMV area. Can get super crowded a nice nights but early am is pretty empty. All new concrete and ramps, well designed. Only negative is the ground isn't completely level.

Super fun bowl
Before this skatepark was kinda run down and there wasn’t really much to do besides ride down a ramp and rail grind but now this park is getting a make over with some new stuff to it so this is gonna be sweet cant wait to check it out when it’s finished
Fenced in skate park that's got a good variety & amount of apparatus for skating on & is used quite often by many. Porta john in parking lot. Not ♿ accessible.

Currently in renovation, I would assume. At least the weather was nice and I enjoyed the 47 min cruise to a closed park :^)))

It'll be ready by September

UPDATE: 20211017
Park is still closed for renovations. I've tried to edit the site so it'll show that it's closed but somehow it keeps rescinding it and now apparently it's 'open'.
It's not. Also, if it is, post a picture so I can go already lol

More of a children's/beginner skatepark. Its literally part of a child's playground complex so I felt a bit silly skating here as a fully grown man.

The floor is made from slabs of concrete so the cracks of each slab put you off a bit. Also strange to put a big wedge to wedge gap in a park so small.

Better than nothing though of you live nearby.
Lovely! Clean new facility. Plenty of handicapped access for the playground and surrounding area. Nice picnic tables under a roof so parents can watch children at both playground and spray park. The water was ice cold for this Grandma...but kids played hard for over and hour. Great experience and we will go back!
One of our most favorite parks!! Splash area on one side and a big fun playground on the other!!!
Great for kids.. splash park with a small playground.. plenty of room to run and absolutely free.
Great time! So much fun skateboarding
One of the nicest parks in Rochester area in terms of amenities, bathrooms, pond, bridges. Well maintained. Hats off to the maintenance crew.

This park has it all! Despite all of the sports/rec activities that are offered here though, we mostly come here to play tennis since it's the best in the area in terms of the ample amount of courts this park has, lamps for night play, and so much more. Cool community too.
Fun park to perfect some basic tricks. Little kids in the morning most days.. Beautiful mural and garden 💜
It is a great park the locals are very nice one thing that needs to be improved on is a little broken cement but easy to avoid

Awesome place to skate super gnarly no scooter kids almost never full death box fun unforgiving and and the coping sticks out a ton but that's what makes it fun .
Ledges and boxes and space. And a tight faux-brick(?) quarter-pipe, jersey-barrier type thing at the far end. I like this park bc there’s not much there and it forces you to be creative. Definitely not a destination per se, but more than adequate for a full sesh.
A chill park with smooth ground and a sparse layout. There’s a bit of a downhill and some of the ledges are rounded. The C-rail is a fun challenge and the planter is a blast, definitely my favorite feature. All in all, though, it’s one of NYC’s more forgettable skateparks.
This park is rad. Solid flow, insanely fun mini. A decent variety of obstacles for rail and ledge skaters. There’s even some space to skate flat ground or get weird on a bank to slappy. Can get crowded with scooter kids at certain times, but overall one of NYC’s best.

There is no shade and it needs repairs on the skating part, I almost killed myself skating on the broken, missing pieces of the ground.
I like this spot very much! Its a perfect place to go to skate small or big ledges, its big and open, its painted so it slides and grinds really well, all the local skaters there are really laid back. Its got a little bit of everything, I suggest going if you get a chance. Its free and no helmets required.
A fantastic skatepark with lots of space and well laid out obstacles. Something for all skill levels here. It sort of feels like a proper SLS competition style skatepark. For some reason though everything (including the floor) has been painted with bright contrasting geometric shapes and colours. It makes it very difficult to see the edge of ledges and drops and stairs.

A bit far out but there's paid parking.

A well built authentic good ol' fashioned concrete bowl complete with pool coping. Not your typical skate park- advanced users only. It's in a nice area with parking nearby.
Update: Park has been completely renovated summer of 2021. It is finished now and people are skating it even though it still says that it is closed. Should be open "officially" for 2022 but the skatepark looks great!!!!

Pre 2021 renovation: Park could use some improvements. The floor is cracked and coming off in many places but still smooth where it's not. Nice to have a skatepark nearby though much appreciated.
Thought this park was pretty sweet, especially if you love ledges.

Went there and ripped it. Sweet spot nice people. Has a nice dog park too. Two thumbs up
Chill little skate spot. You could kill a day here easily. The flat ground is good, it's all down hill though. Gotta watch for people walking through as it's right next to an entrance/exit for the park.
I plan to come here regularly.

Awesome skate Plaza! A bit outside the city but easy enough to drive to, not sure if public transport goes that way. The parking lot attendant let us in for free since I told him we just wanted to skate for 20-30 mins. It has a quarter pipe on one side and the rest is manual pads, grind ledges, and cement kickers. A massive stair set and handrail and then a little 3 set for fun. Right near the highway too so if your going past or leaving DC it's not really out if your way!
