Good teachers and the guys at the reception always helped. You can find a lot of friends from different countries. Convenient class schedule.
Love the school! Teachers are professionals,interesting individuals with whom you can talk on different themes. Admission office always ready to help you,give an advise! Moreover, my English now is much better than it was before the school. I recommend!

I’ve being studying over a year at New York Language Center (UWS location) and just can’t find the right words to describe how grateful I am with them for supporting me and guiding me since the very first moment I started my international student process. Yetsenia, have always made extra time for me and always followed up and truly cared about me and my academic life. Maria has always been nice to me and always kept me updated with my class details and the materials I need for it. Briony also has always been there for me when I needed and supported me and my classmates! Miles, Ben, İzzet, Andy, Abigail, Jesse and Jason are wonderful professors just to mention some of them with whom I had class during this time.
All of them are professional and good hearted people that create an awesome environment at school, and the reason why I feel so lucky to choose my English learning experience at NYLC.
I’ve being studying over a year at New York Language Center (UWS location) and just can’t find the right words to describe how grateful I am with them for supporting me and guiding me since the very first moment I started my international student process. Yetsenia, have always made extra time for me and always followed up and truly cared about me and my academic life. Maria has always been nice to me and always kept me updated with my class details and the materials I need for it. Briony also has always been there for me when I needed and supported me and my classmates! Miles, Ben, İzzet, Andy, Abigail, Jesse and Jason are wonderful professors just to mention some of them with whom I had class during this time.
All of them are professional and good hearted people that create an awesome environment at school, and the reason why I feel so lucky to choose my English learning experience at NYLC.
I am very grateful to the school for giving me one of the best intercultural experiences. I was able to expand my knowledge in English and meet people from different parts of the world. I am also grateful for the excellent service I received from their team.
1)Excellent teachers/Professors and good activities for students, great installation and location.
2)Great materials and books to continue studying.
3) Secretaries delayed to make the student Id and student letter for getting the driver’s license, (3 weeks waiting, sending emails, calling, going to the school for the ID and letter). Then, girls secretaries made me to wait 2 hours until they finished eating, then Maria and Yetsenia laughed and said they watched on the TVNEWS flight attendants we do not have money to pay after de COVID-19 crisis, I showed them I had my 2 banks accounts plus my mom who is a lawyer in the Mexican goverment, plus my airline scholarship. Why I needed my driver’s license because, I needed to rent a car and drive from home to the school because I was assaulted and touched by a man in Prospect park. Then I changed my address to Astoria and they again made me to wait for days to get my new student ID with new address, I had to ask for the favor to the Principal.
4) The school should hire more secretaries because they always say they have lot of work and they are a little or they do not have paper or ink to print or they forget to mark attendance from teachers list. You must better to talk directly with the principal who solve everything at the moment.
5)In addition, some of the secretaries take duties as if they were the principal and they play about if they are going to update your I-20 depending if you are one of their friends or not, even you do have sponsor, company and bank account . They do not have the same rates for all the students. I always paid on time and in advanced. After I complainted of this girls secretaries, they said it was a joke, so Maria and Yetsenia were kidding with I-20 plus they call to the other school to harass me and to warn student advisors not updating my I-20 even though, I paid in advanced all the school tuition every 6 months but, the last 2 secretaries are very unprofessional. Teachers are worthy.
6)That problem was solved by Danny in Queens school. My favorite teachers were:
Mariuz (funny, intelligent, homework, lot of material, very dynamic), Joe Yu very experienced and patient with student, I got the highest scores with Mr. Yu was hired by a college/university, Mr.Brennan Z (very young, organized and experienced, the best class of phrasal verbs and business English, Lot of material and activities), and Ms. Phenot (very experienced teacher, she has been teacher in college, lot of vocabulary, books and homework, a perfect old school teacher. The app to check the attendance works very good. I hope the review helps although is a little longer.

This school provides me everything I was looking for, it’s a great school I never had in my career. They are know what they are doing and the students want exactly. If I have to recommend any friends or parents to study it’s will this school. Thanks for your service, and again thank you for everything. See you in the future.

I had the chance to come to this amazing school for about 6 months. NYLC helped me a lot on improving my english level, I had fantastic teachers and met so many people from all over the world. I can’t be more grateful for the beautiful journey I had in this school.
