Total Light Design

We have used Total Light Design for several years now. They are always honest and show up when they say they will be there. They do an excellent job! Thank you for lighting our house year after year!

Total Light Design was stress free planning and extremely efficient communication. I am the first in my neighborhood to have my lights ready for the Holiday season. I also could not be more impressed with the dedication the crew had putting up the house lights in the pouring rain. Incredible work ethic that lately you never see anymore. Very happy customer.

I used a different company for years. They were great but went out of business. I was referred to Total Light Design in August. I immediately asked for a new estimate. The online form never worked. No one ever called me. I had to call back time and time again. Each time I was told my estimate would be there soon. Finally, after a month of BEGGING for an estimate, I got one. The price was higher than expected but doable so I shot back an email (within 2 hours) and requested to be put on the calendar. That was over a week ago. I have no more energy to keep trying.

I give up. They clearly don't want my business. It's so, so frustrating.

You won’t regret using Total Light Design. Last year was the first year I had professional lights installed and they were very reasonably priced. Their installers were quick and professional. I love the custom light strands and the quality of installation. We opted to store our lights for, and they will replace any burnt out bulbs for you cheaper than you can buy them. If you are looking for lights installed I highly recommend this company.

Everyone at Total Light Design is easy to work with. They are efficient, communicative and work hard to get the job done the way you want it. I appreciate the attention to detail and professionalism of their work. They install and rent, if needed, holiday lights and make it so easy to get the design you want. We receive a lot of compliments on our holiday lights and how professional and legit they look on our house. Being able to rent the lights is crucial for us as our storage space is limited. This also allows us to create new designs and lighting effects each year, if we choose. This flexibility is definitely worth it for our family.

Do not use this company. They pulled a classic bait and switch when installing our Christmas lights between last year and this year. Last year, we purchased and installed lights with Total Light Design. They gave us prices that was a little high on the labor, however we assumed that this is the first year (which takes longer) and our house has architecture that is taller than a typical home. They looked at our home, evaluated the cost and gave us a price. They even laid out the light design on a picture of our home and installed last year.

This year they sent out a email early in the year stating that if we schedule early, we get 10% off the install. We opted to schedule early and take advantage of the discount. I sent an email to take advantage of this discount. We started to set up the process. Then about three weeks after we are in the middle of scheduling the install they send an email stating that the price is going up this year. AN 80% INCREASE OVER LAST YEAR! They just decided that they want to increase my rate by 80% after already setting the price from the prior year, knowing all of the details of my home and the install scope prior to pricing my home out. I guess that is a good way to recoup your early bird special and create more profit from one year to the next, just give an 80% increase and a 10% discount.

This company is extremely unethical and does not practice good business practices. I would not use then and do not recommend them.

We have been using Total Light Design for the last several years. Vlad and his crew are friendly, efficient and trustworthy. They put up an excellent display of Christmas lights on our home every year. We highly recommend Total Light Design. They never disappoint!
