The process to "go solar" includes many options (e.g. buy, lease, or finance the system; types of solar panels and SREC platforms and sales methods). It is important to have a solar company that will work through the various options and stages of the process. Ben and City Renewables were there start to finish, responsive to requests and always available to share knowledge and expertise. Ben will point out that installing solar in DC is not a one-day or one-week relationship between the customer and the installer, instead it is a few months from inception to operation. This is accurate and relevant. In addition, after the system is installed, the installer is the primary contact for the 20-25 year warranty period.
