Rocks Beach

The best place. But now a days it's more becoming like juhu. Filled with couples kissing and hiding behind rocks. There are no public toilets so people pee wherever they feel like. Families can enjoy on weekends. And for children and adults there are horse rides, bagghi rides, dirt bike rides. You can also enjoy tasty fruits from vendors.

I came here early Winter Morning and hence I have mixed review about this place. While the beach was clean and I saw that some people were doing morning walk and Jogging, still there was this one BIG concern- the stray Dogs!!! My God! As soon as you enter the gate towards seashore, there were around 3-4 dogs that kept barking and running towards you. So I cancelled my plan to go for a run and sat there only. It is still a decent option when compared to other beaches in Mumbai including Juhu. The entrance was a bit littered, but the sea was clear and the waves were quite pleasant.
After few hours, the local vendors came who offer a variety of snacks and refreshments. So, I can conclude that this place may be a better option for evening walk rather than morning ones. As per some local friends, there are horse rides also in the evening and some good food options which is a great way to enjoy some local flavor while taking in the scenery.
However, when we passed by the beach in the evening, it was overcrowded ( a normal scenario in Mumbai ). Hence, If you're looking for a peaceful beach experience, this may not be the best option.
Overall, this is a decent beach experience with plenty of local flavor. It's worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a place to relax and take in some sea breeze and some delicious snacks. Make sure you visit in the evening and if you are planning for morning walk, please carry a stick or something with you to shoo away the stray Dogs.

Used to be a great place to hangout and occasionally maybe even have a drink. It's just not the same anymore. However it's bit better and less crowded in comparison to it's neighbouring beach in juhu

Sit on the rocks and watch the waves: One of the best things to do at Rock Beach is to simply sit on the rocks and watch the waves crash against the shore. It is a very relaxing and peaceful experience

Thanks to Afroz Shah who started the initiative to clean the Beach ⛱️ and now with the help of Local ppl and BMC Staff have kept the place clean and neat . Best place to relax and watch the Sunset 🌇 . Alcohol should be banned 🚫 here this is public place . Police need to vigilant here .
