Located in the financial, commercial, and the entertainment capital of India, Mumbai, Gateway of India is one of the most unique landmarks in India. At one time, this monument represented the glory of the British Raj in India. Currently a favorite place for tourists.
The Gateway of India is an iconic landmark that truly embodies the grandeur of Mumbai. This architectural masterpiece never fails to leave me in awe. Its historical significance and breathtaking beauty make it a must-visit destination for anyone exploring this vibrant city.

Standing in front of this monumental structure, you can't help but feel a deep sense of appreciation for the rich history and culture of India. Whether you visit during the day or night, the view is equally mesmerizing. The intricate details and design are a testament to the craftsmanship of a bygone era.

The location also offers a unique perspective of the Arabian Sea, with boats and ships passing by. It's a tranquil spot to relax, reflect, and soak in the bustling atmosphere of Colaba.

The Gateway of India is not just a tourist attraction; it's a symbol of Mumbai's spirit and resilience. Every visit here is a reminder of India's past and a glimpse into its future. I highly recommend experiencing this magnificent monument – it's an experience that will stay with you forever
Such a divine place in heart of Mumbai.
Its always so peaceful and relaxing having vistited Bappa and getting blessings.

One of the must visit place of Mumbai trip.

We visited in morinng aroun 7-8 am. In morning the crowd is very less and our darshn was done in around 20mins max. Got good chance and time to see Bappa and take blessings

Must Visit
Ganpati Bappa Morya 🙏🙏❤️❤️

A place of worship for Devotees.
Situated in Ghatkopar - Bhatwadi, easily accessible from Metro station and railway station.
The spot is great and well maintained except the small small but many fruits and snacks stalls made it very conjusted for the crowd to reach the gateway. Some stalls were placed right outside the toilets that was little bad we know that those people earn there living through those stalls but cleanliness should also be seen as a priority as the place is attracting many foreign tourists as well.
Iconic place from every angle. I have visited it multiple times, even once I took a ferry for Kashid as well. Please visit in the early morning hours to experience all the pigeons like the photos I have attached here. After the terrorist attack, you can't go near the actual gate, rather there is a barricade. But who stops you to click nice photographs from outside of the same.
If you are in Mumbai, a visit to the temple is must. The temple will give you a feeling of tranquil as you enter. A big crowd is common inside the temple be it any time of the day.

There are no tickets to enter it. There will be lots of shops available inside the premises to buy flowers and sweets to offer to lord Ganesh.

There are three lines to enter the temple. You will have to choose depending on the type of visit. We went to just visit the temple and see the idol so we went inside thru the mukhdarshan line. If you want to get the puja done, you will have to enter thru the normal puja line or the vip line which costs 1500 rs for 4 people.

There is also a lord hanuman idol inside and you can get tika from the purohit while returning back from the main temple.

We reached there around 3.25 pm and came back by 3:35 pm. There is a mahaprasad counter where you can get the bhog(laddoo) for Rs 20/-. You can buy modak separately to offer Lord Ganesh.

In order to reach there, you can come to dadar station - west and take a share cab at Rs 10/- each and reach the temple in just 5-6 mins.

The station road of Dadar has lots of street shopping outlets available and you can shop at cheap prices.

Haji Ali Dargah is a mosque and dargah. which is located at worli coast between the sea. which make it more wonderful we need to walk on the small pathway between the Arabian sea 1/2 kilometre to reached this place. This is one of the best tourist place. Male and female both can visit this place. Very peaceful place with beautiful architecture work.
This the best place of India.
The Gateway of India is one of India's most unique landmarks situated in the city of Mumbai. The colossal structure was constructed in 1924. The structural design of the Gateway of India is constituted of a large arch, with a height of 26m. The monument is built in yellow basalt and indissoluble concrete.
The Gateway of India, which was erected to commemorate the landing of King-Emperor George V, the first British monarch to visit India, in December 1911 at Strand Road near Wellington Fountain, is an arch-monument completed in 1924 on the waterfront of Mumbai (Bombay), India. It is one of the iconic landmarks not just in Mumbai but in India. The boat ride from Gateway Of India is a must. There are various packages and the least is an approximate 30 mins boat ride into the sea. You cannot miss this place if you are in Mumbai and the view of the Taj Hotel from this place especially in the evening is astonishing. Finding space for parking here is a huge task, though.
Built in 1911 , 21 year after the Taj Mahal Hotel, its one of the most iconic independence landmarks of the country.
Delhi = India Gate.
Mumbai = Gateway of India.

It looks beautiful all throughout the day.
Morning view with the Indian flag fluttering in the backdrop and evening view with the lights dancing on it are breathtaking.

It's nice experience to visit haji ali dargah, open surrounded, less distance from mahalaxmi railway station near around 10 minutes from taxi. Feel very relaxed inside the dargah and view of this dargah & coastal bay is really awesome. Many store around the footpath like clothes(chadar), sweets, restaurant, etc.

Difficult to find parking.
Must visit temple & famous devotional place.
Try Prasad Laddu its very delicious & blessed from Ganapati bapa.
Many puja shops are there for puja needs like flowers & other items.

It's a market for women's clothing and accessories. One can find good collection but need to to bargain before buying.
Marine Drive Beach is a famous waterfront promenade located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is a vibrant and bustling place known for its scenic beauty, breathtaking sunsets, and stunning views of the Arabian Sea.

The 3.6-kilometer-long boulevard is lined with palm trees and art deco buildings, creating a charming atmosphere. Many locals and tourists visit Marine Drive to enjoy leisurely walks, relax on the beach, or simply soak in the vibrant ambiance. The highlight of Marine Drive is the iconic "Queen's Necklace," a nickname given to the view of the streetlights that resemble a necklace when seen from a distance at night.

It's a shrine to visit. Vibe is spiritual. Lot of tourist around the world to vist the place. The location is excellent in between the sea. The high tide and low tide covers the way to the shrine. Must visit place while you are in Mumbai. And for belivers its holy.

But the people to visit, must understand that every place must be kept clean. The sea coast was very untidy. Lot of garbage thrown in sea.
Its also a crime, if you put garbage in sea. So please be aware and keep the place clean.

One of the unique features of the Haji Ali Dargah is its location on the islet, which gets submerged during high tide, making it accessible only during low tide. This adds to the mystique and charm of the shrine.

Apart from its religious significance, the Haji Ali Dargah is also a popular tourist attraction, drawing visitors with its serene ambiance, stunning views of the Arabian Sea, and the spiritual aura surrounding the place.

Marine drive is also known as Queen's Necklace because, when viewed at night from an elevated point anywhere along the drive, the street lights resemble a string of pearls in a necklace. Awesome place.
It’s near to Churchgate railway station, mumbai.
Best time to visit : Evening / Night
Visited Shree Siddhi Vinayak temple last week. A must visit place every time you visit Mumbai.

You can reach the temple easily by getting down at dadar railway station. And from dadar West you can get sharing taxis to mandir. They charge 10 RS per seat.

On weekends and holidays the waiting time for darshan can be somewhere around 45-60 mins.

Temple authorities have made arrangements for shoes and luggage cloak rooms.

Mandir is clean and very well maintained.
Siddhivinayak is one of the 8 temple of lord Ganesha. You feel something devotional in this place.
Excellent security... Got Good Darshan of Bappa.

It's okay. One time visit is sufficient .If sight seeing is purpose.
The Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai is a revered religious landmark that draws devotees and visitors alike. Known for its magnificent architecture and spiritual significance, the temple exudes a sense of tranquility amidst the bustling city. The main deity, Lord Ganesha, is believed to grant blessings and fulfill wishes, resulting in a constant stream of devotees seeking his grace.

The temple's inner sanctum houses a stunning idol of Lord Ganesha, carved from a single black stone. The intricately designed entrance and beautifully adorned surroundings contribute to the temple's vibrant atmosphere. While the temple can get crowded, the faith and devotion of the visitors create a unique aura of devotion.

Visiting the Siddhivinayak Temple provides an opportunity to experience Mumbai's cultural and religious richness. However, due to its popularity, it's advisable to plan a visit during off-peak hours to fully appreciate the spiritual ambiance and avoid long waiting times.

Situated amidst the waters of the Arabian Sea, this location stands as an iconic site in Mumbai. While it tends to be quite bustling on weekends, you'll still have the opportunity to relish the refreshing sea breeze both en route to the mosque and from its interior. Since parking isn't available, opting for a leisurely walk is advisable.

Cameras are permitted within the area, allowing you to capture moments. Though photography isn't allowed inside the mosque, you can still capture some wonderful shots outside. Don't miss out on indulging in the local street snacks near Haji Ali Dargah, particularly the offerings from Haji Ali Juice Corner.

As you depart, take a moment to explore the underpass street market. It's a great spot for imitation jewelry and watches, offering an additional dimension to your visit.

Haji Ali Dargah or Haji Ali shrine is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Mumbai..

It is located in middle of Arabian Sea and is approachable only when the tides are low.. It usually submerges in water during high tide which adds a charm in it's beauty..

It is also popular for it's religious beliefs..
We went there from Byculla by Taxi.. It was 2.9 km distance..

There are many shops aligned in the causeway to Haji Ali Shrine from the entrance..

You have to pay shopkeepers 10rs for each pair of shoes or sandals.. Even though it's written that the paying amount is not compulsion, but we were made to pay..

Apart from that,a good place to visit though..
visiting Marine Drive on holidays can result in heavy crowds and traffic congestion. If you prefer a more peaceful experience, it might be better to visit on weekdays or during off-peak hours when there are fewer people around. This way, you can enjoy the serene atmosphere and beautiful views without the hustle and bustle of a crowded day
The experience was nice.

The queue keeps on moving at a steady pace. You can find fans everywhere along the queue, also the premise is shaded so as to help the visitors as they queue up for entering the main temple.

You can pay Rs 100 if you want to skip the queue.

Must visit if you are in Mumbai.
Just okay, considering the price they charged my colleague for a Pooja session, over 5k, they could have chose a more scenic place within the temples to do it. Like the rest of Mumbai, crowded and dirty. I gave it a four because of the Cultural interest.

First of all, being in a mall, the rates are high- INR 750 per person for 45 minutes. But the place is small and nothing to do for 45 minutes. 25- 30 minutes is more than enough. Since I went with a 6 yo, who experienced snow for the first time it was a good experience for children. They provide you with jackets, gloves and shoes (make sure you wear socks of you’ll have to buy them there). The staff of very prompt and helpful throughout. There is a small ice skating rink inside, so that was a small enjoyable activity but not for young children. And there is a small slide and few sledges you can sit on and be pushed/ pulled around on. All in all I’d rate it a 7/10 for a fun activity for kids.
Juhu Beach is located on the shores of the Arabian Sea. It stretches for six kilometres up to Versova. The short, rocky formations make up the Juhu Beach unlike the Marina Beach in Chennai that is primarily sandy. It is a tourist attraction throughout the year and is also a destination for shooting films. The beach generally gets more crowded on weekends and public holidays. The food court at its main entrance is known for its 'Mumbai style' street food, notably bhelpuri, pani puri and sev puri. Horse-pulled carriages used to offer joyrides to tourists for a small fee but have been banned now. Acrobats, dancing monkeys, cricket matches, toy sellers,Youth are playing old games vie for tourist's attention. The beach is among the most popular sites in the city for the annual Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations where thousands of devotees arrive in grand processions, carrying idols of the Lord Ganesh of various sizes, to be immersed in the sea at the beach. Juhu Beach is also a common spot for plane spotting as a portion of it lies underneath the departure path from Runway 27 and occasionally, the arrival path from Runway 09 of Mumbai Airport. There are several small entrances to the beach throughout the stretch, however the main and most used entrance is near Hotel Ramada Plaza By Wyndham Palm Grove. The best time to visit Juhu Beach is from September to May, as during the monsoon period of June to August the tide is mostly high which makes it dangerous to wander around on the beach

Visiting the Gateway of India was a mesmerizing experience. Its majestic arch and intricate design instantly captivated me. The historical significance of this iconic monument added depth to the visit. As I strolled along the waterfront, the gentle sea breeze and the stunning view of the Arabian Sea left me in awe. The bustling atmosphere with locals and tourists created a lively ambiance. Capturing photos of the grand structure was a must. However, I wish there were more informative plaques explaining its history. Overall, the Gateway of India is a must-visit destination in Mumbai, offering a glimpse into India's rich heritage and vibrant culture.
This one is this great place for visit, believe me if you tired, it will take your entire anxiety and overthinking, visit it once.....
This place is really beautiful and religious.
Evening time will be the best for meditation and peace.

The snow experience and skating were good but the management is not that good. They give a jacket, shoe and gloves only to enter into the snow room. No shocks or leg cover is provided. Please remember to bring your own socks and it is advisable to wear pants with legs covered. There was an arrangement to take photos. It was a very bad experience. Its an experience worth having once if you have not visited any snow clad mountains. Snow world located on the ground floor of Phoenix market city mall in Kurla, having batches of 45 min each. It costs Rs. 700 per head (above 2 yrs of age), you need to be there 15 min before your batch time, to collect and wear jackets, boots and gloves. Advance online booking recommended especially om the weekends.

The snow world inside has a slide, dedicated area for ice skating and few dummy snow animals for kids to have fun. There are few carriages which you can pull via the attached strings. You can spend half an hour enjoying the snow and clicking millions of pics and then you will get little bored. If there were couple of more anow activities, probably that would make it more interesting.
The water has sadly become very dirty and so have the beaches. Food stalls are good. But recreational purposes fails because of non cleanliness

Oh what a fun time we had in the snow world.
Was astounded by the setup and vibe inside.

Do book your tickets online to have hustle free entry on your convenient time. Also it takes time to reach from Kurla station to the mall so do have buffer time to reach the mall and then snow world counter in there 15min prior.

So about the snow world they give you all the essentials to wear like jacket, shoes, gloves. The temp inside is negative so before hitting each other with ice balls make sure you cover neck and head with the jacket cap. They have ice slides which is fun. Then a wooden cottage is there to click pictures. Small slides for kids is present.
Most fun part was ice skating ⛸️ , guides are there to guide through it.
They should increase the time a little for each batch. The price for every adult is 700/- so time slot should be increased as it might seem costly for some.and morre fun activities should be added other than slides and ice skating.

An exquisite example of Indo-Islamic Architecture, associated with legends about doomed lovers, the dargah contains the tomb of Haji Ali Shah Bukhari. Go a bit early if you want a decent spot to sit and take photos at, it gets extremely crowded just before sun set and you’ll not get any place to sit down or take photos.
Best to carry something to eat and a bottle of water as there really isn’t much to buy from. The occasional street vendors are present but that’s hardly sufficient.
The policing here is very good and the constant beat is reassuring for safety.
Some of the best spots to sit in are a little closer to Nariman point away from the city so that you get the entire skyline in your photos, thank me later!!

Refreshing hangout spot! We went with two kids , and they had the time of their lives. The entry charge per person is 700 rupees. They give you jackets, shoes and gloves before entering the snow room, so no need to carry warm clothes but the kids' ones may be a little off size. There are plastic balls, slides, and sleds available for the littles ones to play with, adults can enjoy skating and the big slide.

What I liked the most was
1. There are beverage options available inside for a price.

2. A photographer, who takes multiple pictures of you and you can have them printed at the exit stall for 250-350 rupees.

3. The staff is attentive and helpful.
Multiple little sculptures and structures where you can take photos and make good memories. They even helped us put on the snow boots.

Overall, it's a good spot to get rid of the Mumbai heat for a while.

Never expected this place to be busy even at 2 am midnight. The kids, senior citizens, couples , joggers everyone can be seen as if this was just evening time. The breeze and the vibes were so awesome. Though the water smells, we get used to it within few minutes. Felt soothing throughout the time. Just sit facing the waves and shake your legs as long as you wanted. No one bothers you. You don’t even feel like surfing on your mobile. It was waxing gibbous!!! The clouds and the moon along with the breeze made it so cinematic to begin with. Overall a best place to hangout with buddies.

Try and explore cafe Leopold it’s always busy so try to avoid lunch and dinner timings there’s usually waiting. Cafe Mondager is also quite nice cafe and has a good ambience. The street gets too crowded on weekends.
Awesome view ❤️ but the area was slightly dirty 😐…

Shri Siddhivinayak Temple is a must-visit for anyone visiting Mumbai. It is a place where you can experience the true essence of Hindu faith and culture.
Girgaon Chowpatty is situated along the Queen’s Necklace adjoining Marine Drive. The beach is also known for an array of lip-smacking street food like Pao Bhaji, Bhel Puri, Pani Puri, Kulfi-Faluda, Gola etc. at reasonable rate. The beach is also well-known for Ganesh Visarjan celebrations. Not a very long beach nor very clean but with colourful lights, aroma of street food, calming sound of the sea waves, and attractive local markets, the beach has a lively setting especially in the evening time.
My parish💞 I always visit my parish for some self reflection, inner peace and tranquility.
One of the most famous Hindu shrines in Mumbai, Siddhivinayak Temple is where the deity of Ganesha is worshipped. Originally built in 1801, the present-day building complex is a result of the renovations which were completed in 1993. While this temple gains most of its popularity from the vast amount of gold which covers the throne of the idol, there are several other facets of this building that attract visitors.
Food is available at high cost..

It was built in 1801 and its renovations began in 1990 and completed in 1993. The current temple is multi angled six storied structure built with granite and pink marble. The Ganesh murti installed in this temple has many special features. Its two upper arms carry lotus and axe in right and left arm respectively, while its two lower arms hold japamala and a bowl of modaks in right and left arm respectively.the centre of forehead has a third eye.Instead of sacred thread, the snake crosses idols trunk from left shoulder towards right side of abdomen. the temple is visited by thousands of devotees daily and the crowd is at its peak on Tuesdays. In Siddhivinayak Mandir, a devotee is likely to bump across celebrities from different fields such as Bollywood, politics, cricket stars etc. This mandir is a "smart" mandir where you can book a darshan through internate and also participate in arati virtually. The mandir complex also has a small Hanuman Temple.

Most probably the best place for pocket friendly shopping. You will get great variety of products and in wide range. It's a long street of around 4-5 Km and most of the street vendors are Antique iteams, clothes, Mobile accessories, etc. A must to go place if you are in Colaba.

Huge and over crowded street market. There are some good branded shops as well like Woodland, Puma, Levi's etc and the famous Leopold Cafe. Unfortunately couldn't cover the whole street in a short time, maybe you will need a whole day if you are shopaholic. Passed by just after visiting Taj hotel and Gateway of India. Shopping wasn't in our planning that day and with lots of patience and good bargaining skill, we did very good shopping where finally no hands were free. A seller whose shop was in a back alley followed us and waited calmly for more than 45 minutes, so that we catch a glimpse of his products. Amazingly here also we did great shopping. You must bargain at least 5 times less than the propose price. If you like antiques items, you'll get nice one here. Also mehendi prints and after bargaining got 3 sets for INR 500 + some small gifts by the seller. Please note that almost all of the street products are fake and some are defective also. Checked all your items well before payment. Some sellers are very kind and they helped us to carry our shopping bags plus halt a taxi for us. That was a very nice experience and love my shopping here.
Searching for Lord Ganesha to perform your Tuesday rituals then this is the perfect place for you.

The temple is open every day.

The place is inside Mills Compound so its Very quiet and Holy Peaceful for getting satisfied all your prarthana Prayers for Lord Ganesha.

Few Vendors sit outside to sell flowers, Agarbatti, Diva, Mala and PRASADAM stuff. You can grab them on the go for your offerings.

Thank you for your valuable time.
Happy that this 🏖Beach is still there in the prime locations. Chowpatty is relaxing place to visit. On weekends it is crowdy ao I'll suggest to go in week days that too after sunset to enjoy the cool breeze of air.
This is very calm, peaceful divine place
A quaint little Catholic church nestled in Road number 4, Chembur.
Well maintained temple of Ganpati Bappa.
Go there anytime of the day and you will find people enjoying.. Lively place to visit. Lots of eating options available. However the Beach turns dirty at times due to senseless people throwing bottle and wrappers..Go there early morning and it is very peaceful. Ideal place for spending time with family and kids.
Small, serene and well maintained Ganpati Temple.

Dhuri siddhi ganesh mandir is located at Bhatwadi Ghatkopar a very pleasant and beautiful place.

There are three idols in this mandir the lord Ganesha idol there is Saibaba idol.It also has Shivaji Maharaj idol.
The mandir is built well and the architecture out there is literally perfect.

One who is search for peace and silence may visit this mandir once if you stay nearby Bhatwadi. The exterior of the mandir seems to be like a fort.

It's a typical flea market mixed with regular shops and upscale showrooms. Generally overpriced but you get souvenirs which are not easy to get anywhere else in Mumbai. You'll always find a good bargain. Be ready to haggle if you like anything. Arrive before noon so you can avoid the crowds and get best deals because you'll probably be one if the first few customers.
