I love the staff here, so friendly. I came here first time too late, they were almost closing. Not many choices left, Tarte au Chocolat and Pain au Chocolat, and I even got discounts. So delicious I have to admit. I will definitely come back for the hazelnut Croissant next time!
I'm a regular visitor and have always loved this place. very cool atmosphere, but the food has turned into a bad direction, everything is not fresh. Today I ordered a sandwich with pastrami and they brought me a baguette with arugula and one slide of pastrami, and the baguette was old.
I used to LOVE that place … but the last three times I went there in the morning the croissants weren’t fresh and fluffy at all. The same went for the banana bread, the danish … I spoke to the stuff about that change as well. I won’t go there for a while now and will check again in the future if they’re back to their quality level.

Woke up early to visit La Maison and the experience was satisfying. We ordered a croissant, pain au chocolat and almond croissant. We enjoyed the pain au chocolat the most and the croissant was nice but the almond croissant was a little dry (maybe a little over baked too) and not creamy enough. I also found the pastries not buttery enough for my liking, however this all comes down to personal preference. Coffee was delicious.
Incredible food, both savory and sweet. The danish croque maison is a must try!!!! There's always a line but it goes pretty fast. Definitely recommended, over and over again!
The best breakfast place in all of Berlin. The current 4.6 is currently under rating by a lot. This is a 5 star place. The best crossiants I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend enough. Worth to travel to far and wide for this experience. Kudos to the owner and the staff on hand. Simply excellent.
