Good car park for Waitrose although unclear if there is a penalty or if you have to pay beyond 1.5h

Recently refurbished. Pedestrian walkways marked out. Can park for 1.5 hours as long as you shop. Convenient for the town centre.
2hrs free parking for shopping in Waitrose. Of course nobody is going to spend that long in one shop, so it's handy for northern parts of the town. Just keep an eye on the time, and make sure that you use Waitrose - sometimes proof is needed that you've done this.
