Chase Bank

I used my Card on 7-26-23 at the atm , two weeks later today my card was used with pin in Baltimore at an atm. My card is in my wallet and I’m in nyc. Apparently a skimmer device which copies your card info and pin was placed on their machines and I fell victim. Since my pin was used and it wasn’t a Chase account I’m out of $500. The branch takes no responsibility for not safeguarding their machines and letting ppl fall prey to scammers. They should routinely check for these things to safeguard clients. I only use bank ATMs at branches thinking they were safer than store atms a joke. They basically told me too bad.

My wife and I were here to open a Chase credit card. The girl was very professional and very helpful! She explained more than we had expected and that was good.

My family took a mortgage out from this branch over a year ago. Very unprofessional, would not even bother coming here.

They ran hard credit checks on us without any confirmation. I would stray away from especially Billy Mui.

After several conversations it was our understanding that with my background I would not be able to apply for the loan using my income and my family would have to take it without me.

Not only were they unapologetic, they had instead accused me of trying to get him fired and rebuttal with it will go away in 2 years by itself anyway... in addition, he also had the audacity to call my father and say rude things about me in chinese and that I am only trying to get him fired.

You ran a hard credit check on me knowing full well that my income is not going to be used to obtain the loan.... without my permission. Am I not the victim?

After several back and forth emails and phone calls and trying to reach corporate; I have still no luck getting this hard check removed.

The professionalism in this Chase bank is deplorable. I've been a chase member for years and I've always had excellent service until I came to this location. I came in to see if I can exchange my money because they were stain with red ink. The bills were perfectly fine with no missing pieces and serial numbers perfectly visible. It was a crisp $100 (beside the red ink). The bank teller told me I have to send this into the government. When I ask her where, she rudely responded "Google it" and I responded "do you mean the federal reserve bank?" And she said "oh yes." As if I was an inconvenience. I am not sure how stain bill exchange works but at least give proper instruction for this types of situations. Do not just brush off customers. This will indeed impact my future banking investment with Chase.

The bank assistant is very snobbish and unprofessional. She keeps chatting with her private friends who come to visit her during work hours. Unsatisfied experience overall.

Do NOT use their machines to make deposits. Defective and you have been warned. It does eat your money and then you have to deal with chase to prove you made a deposit. Avoid this branch.
