Good afternoon, to the manager of the surgery or whom so ever it matters,

Straight to the point, I was advised blood test by my GP last week and was told I'm on the waiting list until they become available in March due to a new Phlebotomist starting soon, which made sense and was happy to wait. This afternoon my husband walked into surgery asking for a blood test and he was offered one for March 7th which was available due to an cancellation. I am happy he go the appointment and nor do I want to cancel. My question is, if something comes available it goes to someone first on the waiting list. How was the decision made to give an appointment to who just walked in? There could be an elderly waiting for weeks. I want this is to be investigated. Also, the more shocking part is how your receptionist spoke over the phone when she was questioned, I had the right to question as I am fuming. The lady on the other side refused to give her name and her tone was appalling. The call was made on the 29/02/2023 between 12:20 - 12:20pm, I'm sure all the calls are recorded and you should be listening to the recordings to ensure you have a competitive person who is capable of handling such questions in the reception and instead showing an attitude to shut me off. I have been ailing and wanting this blood test for ages, I have multiple issues and due to the lady's behavior today it has given me anxiety to even come to you guys. Rubbish service WHATSOEVER.

I want this to be looked into with utmost importance and concern.

Was told by 111 services to call doctor at 8am had to go round because couldn't get through on phone was told I had to wait for a triage Dr to call. But in the end up no phone call. I got a better response from the pharmacy. Receptionist was lovely but the service. Makes me wonder why we pay our N.I. NHS what NHS can't even see your Dr when you want one.

Have to say I am disgusted with the service. It has been 6 days now since I was supposed to get a call from this surgery and still no call. I have asked 111 and pharmacy about getting an allergy test and you have to go through Dr. How the heck can you get that if you can't see your Dr.

I have given two stars, because the only good thing I can say about this place is that they respond to my klinik requests quickly and the one receptionist lady that I spoke to today was so kind and actually cared about my concerns.
However, in saying that, It has gotten to a point that whenever I have to deal with anything to do with the NHS, I get anxiety attacks!
Isn’t that just wonderful? The very place that is supposed to make me feel at ease and look after my health actually causes my anxiety and makes it worse!
It actually doesn’t matter what surgery you go to, if it’s in the UK, most of the time, you will be treated very badly.
Klinik systems are often offline and to get through on the phone is a nightmare!
No patient should have to wait and hold for minutes on end!
Yesterday I called 9 times and was put on hold and remained in the same queue position for 20 minutes!
In the end I gave up.
It’s not acceptable!
Quite frankly I don’t even know why medical centres still exist because there’s never any appointments for patients to attend, so I fail to understand why these buildings are still standing and running as supposed ‘medical centres’
They say that there is a staff shortage due to patients being verbal abusive, but perhaps if there were a better standard of healthcare, patients wouldn’t feel so frustrated and feel the need to express it!
When is something going to be done in this country about the appalling healthcare???

if i could give it less I would, EXTREMELY rude receptionists, VERY unhelpful it was literally the worst experience ever, they just want you to leave and dismiss you without doing their job.. it's such a shame that in such neighborhood we can't have an equally good practice. I really hope they do better because this is very upsetting.

Tried to get a GP appointment some weeks ago.
I did manage to see a paramedic regarding a cough I've had for over 8weeks.
Was told I need a blood test but can't have an appointment until the end of October - my cough is much worse and very hard to breathe .

I am exstremly grateful to be a patient at watling vale surgery, with all the amazing & outstanding staffing from the doctors reception and nurses. They all work as a team exstremly hard ,maximum there skills to ensure they our helping all patients. Trust me I've been a patient for many year's. Please try and understand they our all under a great deal off pressure. If you treat them with the respect they deserve you will receive the best off care. We a our privilege to have one off the lucky too have the best surgery in Milton Keynes

The reception staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. Unfortunately, the reason the reception staff are rude is because the office management staff are completely rude especially Debbie a truly unpleasant beast of a person. Because they are unregulated they can talk to people in any way they like and get away with it. Dr Edwardson has recently left and decided to abandon this circus of a so-called Doctors Surgery. A 1 star is way to high for the rudeness and unhelpful behaviour.The rudest of them all is Debbie (Assistant Manager) the short older lady with bleached blond hair, beware!
