Difficult not to think that this branch of Costa is currently in a spiral of decline based on recent visits. Dirty tables, indifferent staff, no proper cups and no Internet connection. Dismal.
No large coffee available, no toast, no porridge, and the server Georgia was messaging on her phone instead of making coffee, how rude
Some Costas coffee tastes different. Or maybe it's me forgetting to ask for half a shot. However, I always go to Costa, where I can.

Spacious tearoom near Burnley market Hall. Smooth and friendly service, even when busy. There is an outdoor terrace that is partly covered, which is good in rainy weather.
Great refurbishment. 👍 Love the new look. ❤️ Very warm welcome and very cheerful staff. Oh and also enjoyed the cappuccino. 😉
