My two boys attended Marander Montessori from the Toddler/Pre-Casa class till before going to Grade 1, so a total of 8 years between the two kids. We absolutely love this school, especially all the teachers and the Principal Mrs. Lee. I visited and interviewed quite a number of different daycares and Montessori schools before finding Marander and I am so pleased with my decision. All the teachers really truly cares for the children, this is very apparent and they do such a great job teaching them. It was a good feeling dropping off my kids and not having to worry about them as I feel I can trust the staff at the school to take care of them. My boys learned so much in this very encouraging environment and excelled in every way there and they love going to school every single day. My kids are in French Immersion Elementary now and I feel that Marander prepared them very well for the French if you are thinking of FI but not just French, every subject. Their leadership is exceptional with so much experience in early childhood. I am able to ask the Principal about different topics or questions like how to handle certain toddler behaviours and her advice always seem to work. I am so happy that my boys were able to attend this wonderful school and build a strong education foundation early in life.

My elder one is attending this school from last 2 years and soon my younger one will join this school. I am so impressed with the management of this Montessori. The teachers are so compassionate and dedicated to children's overall development in studies, general knowledge, extra curricular activities. I am just thankful that my son got a good foundation.

My son spent 3 happy years here and graduated this summer. I'm really glad his first step started with Marander Montessori School. Teachers are very knowledgeable and nice, management is very efficient. There are good space for children to play outside. My son likes the food.

My son has been attending Marander for preschool and JK for the past 2 years. This is a second home for him. He adores both of his teachers and misses them deeply during lockdown. All the staff are caring and exceptional at what they do. The management is also on the top of everything. My son will be attending SK in September.
I highly recommend Marander for all parents wanting to give the very best start for their children.

My daughter has been at Marander for 5 years and my son will be entering his 4th year in September. The education they have received is phenomenal. Almost all the students graduate being able to read at a minimum of gr. 1 level. This is accomplished through their reading program. Students are given readers which are read at home and at school to the teacher. They have a phonics system prior to beginning to read. If students are ready, they begin to write their own sentences with the understanding of nouns, adjectives and verbs.
As for math, by graduation, most students are able to understand the basics of multiplying and adding/subtracting 4 digit numbers with 4 digit numbers. They learn through the use of traditional Montessori material and are supplemented with worksheets when they are ready for completing the questions abstractly.
If you are thinking of a Montessori program for your child, I would recommend you to take a tour of Marander. We chose Marander over public school because of the superior education our children received and because of the student teacher ratio.

The staff and admin team at Marader are great, informative and mostly very nurturing to their children. After having our first son start at another local daycare due to no spots available and then transferring him when a spot was opened we noticed a huge difference in our son and our comfort level with their system. We now have our second child enrolled with them and couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.
