I have my student placement in casa 3 and work with Ms. Jessica, Ms. Tina and Ms. Alice. I'm absolutely the most lucky one to learn and work with them as they are kind and professional. Ms. Jessica, the head teacher, has very efficient methods to teach and discipline young students. And children love her so much as they understand they are disciplined for taking better care of self and others. Working with Montessori activities across all subjects is an excellent approach as it provides a comprehensive understanding of the Montessori method. This hand-on experience allows me to gain insights into how different activities support the overall development of the individual in various areas. In all, I've learned so much about authentic Montessori approach here in a practical way as a student teacher :)

Queens Montessori is a wonderful school! Lovely administration, homemade cooking, and great true Montessori resources. I am a first time mom, and leaving my 18 month old was a very difficult task, but our teachers Ms.Dewan, Ms.Yvonne and Ms.Lily made the transition much easier for everyone. They truly love my child, and want nothing but the best for her. Which is exactly what we were looking for, for her first taste of school. We know our child is loved and in a very safe environment, and the great learning is just a bonus!

The educators are working collaboratively, everyone respects each other, the environment is always clean and educators have a professional approach to children. I learned a lot from Queens Montessori Academy Family during my field placement and I feel lucky to have a great start with this amazing Montessori school as an ECE student. The supervisor and the principal are always willing to help and support whenever you need. My mentor explained all standards and ethics professionally, influenced my perception positively for ECE field. I appreciate the professional, loving, caring environment they provided.

My daughter is here since she was 18 mos old.
The toddler classteachers are truly exceptional. I have observed positive changes and development of my baby, which reflects teachers’ dedication and patience to the children.
I always recommend QMS to my friends. Again, thank you for your remarkable efforts that you have putting into guiding my baby.

Our son(who is fairly shy and sometimes has difficulty being away from Mom and Dad) absolutely loves his time here at daycare. The teachers do so much to keep the children engaged and learning throughout the day with crafts, science experiments, games, and more! The staff always have great communication (eg, regular updates on your little one’s day via their app) and are super friendly. Can’t recommend Loveview enough!

My son has thrived here! We absolutely love it, the education is true Montessori and the love the teachers show the kids is so comforting!

Thank you very much. The nursery has brought happiness to my daughter. Since my daughter came here from other places, I have been smiling every day, and I have learned a lot of knowledge and rules.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the principal Ms.Grace for unwavering patience and dedication. A special thank you to Miss Melody, Miss Haley, and all the teachers at Loveview for their genuine care and support. My child has had a wonderful year of learning, thanks to your nurturing environment. Your commitment to education shines through, and we appreciate the positive impact you've had on our child's growth. Thank you for making Loveview a place where children thrive and feel truly cared for.

The admin here is completely unprofessional. Daycare closures are added whenever they want to, without care for how that will disrupt parent schedules! The “explanation” they give differs on who you speak to, and they try to make it sound like you’re rude for asking!! Makes it very hard to trust anything they say. At a minimum, not reliable at all, which is the main reason why our kids are in daycare in the first place.
The teachers are decent but the management is extremely disappointing. Would not choose this place again.

My two boys attended Marander Montessori from the Toddler/Pre-Casa class till before going to Grade 1, so a total of 8 years between the two kids. We absolutely love this school, especially all the teachers and the Principal Mrs. Lee. I visited and interviewed quite a number of different daycares and Montessori schools before finding Marander and I am so pleased with my decision. All the teachers really truly cares for the children, this is very apparent and they do such a great job teaching them. It was a good feeling dropping off my kids and not having to worry about them as I feel I can trust the staff at the school to take care of them. My boys learned so much in this very encouraging environment and excelled in every way there and they love going to school every single day. My kids are in French Immersion Elementary now and I feel that Marander prepared them very well for the French if you are thinking of FI but not just French, every subject. Their leadership is exceptional with so much experience in early childhood. I am able to ask the Principal about different topics or questions like how to handle certain toddler behaviours and her advice always seem to work. I am so happy that my boys were able to attend this wonderful school and build a strong education foundation early in life.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Queens Montessori. My son used to go there 2 years ago and now my daughter is there because I was very happy with the way they teach everything and the care they provide to the children. Ms Dewan, Ms Lilly, Ms Yvonne, Mrs Sapu and Mrs Fizza all deserve 5+ stars for everything they do for these kids with a huge smile on their faces! They are super attentive, have made the school environment very comfortable for the kids from day 1 and my daughter got used to them in less than a month! She is VERY happy going to class every morning which makes me happy and of course I don't have to stress after drop off while I head to work. She also loves Ms Annie's cooking and all the healthy snacks! I could go on and on about how amazing these ladies are.. it's hard sending your kids away for the first time to daycare, but Queens makes it very easy for moms and kids! :)

I cannot express enough praise for this Montessori school; the teachers are truly exceptional, exuding warmth and love. My children not only enjoy their time here but genuinely look forward to their days spent with their wonder teachers and engaging in fun activities.
A special shoutout to the incredible educators who make a significant impact: Ms. Dewan, Ms. Budhwani, Ms. Emma, Ms. Lan Lan, and the Vice Principal, Ms. Sapu. This team is nothing short of amazing, demonstrating care and support not only for the children, but for the parents as well.
I wholeheartedly recommend this Montessori school. The dedication and passion of the staff create an environment where children thrive, fostering not just learning but a genuine love for education and making children reach their development goals and milestones. We feel so fortunate to be part of such a nurturing community, and cannot appreciate the teachers enough for everything that they do.

I love this Montessori, my son has learned so much since enrolling at 18 months and now he's 5 years old. He knows how to read long stories 15 pages (a short paragraph a page), math (+, -, x and ÷) and even learned a bit of French! He knows how to write short stories etc. I would give this Markham Montessori 10 stars if I could... Ms. Connie is an amazing teacher and there is nothing bad I can think of to write about this place. I would recommend this place to everyone looking to put their kid into a Montessori!!

My daughter is 3 years old and she doesn’t have much experience in daycare. After first visit, we found it is a very organized and clean daycare. My daughter adapted to the environment quite soon. The teachers Mandy, Amy and Sara are very helpful and responsible. And supervisor Grace, who is nice and professional. Highly Recommend Loveview.

Because of the move, this is the second kindergarten we went to. In comparison, it has its advantages and disadvantages. First of all, let’s talk about its disadvantages. Personally, I think the breakfast is a bit monotonous. Maybe it’s because the breakfast at the previous one is different every day. Let’s talk about its advantages. It’s close to home, which is very important to us, because the twice-daily pick-up and drop-off is a big problem if the distance is far away. If there are any problems, we can deal with them early. In addition, every teacher there is very nice and very patient. The daily teaching content is also very rich. My eldest son learned a lot there and is very happy every day. They have photos and schedules sent to the app every day, which makes us feel very reassured. Moreover, they participate in government subsidy projects and pay for them. It can help us. Overall, it is a very good choice. I will also send my second child to this kindergarten.

As a student of 10 years that has recently graduated I can say that it is a good place for learning.

Went to open house to see if there might be space for my child here, teacher literally laughed in my face. Not sure what the hype is all about. It's teachers that make great schools, and this teacher did not impress me at all. I'll take my money and kid elsewhere, thanks.

terrible. my son go there and he is terrible

Highly Recommended.
My daughter is 2 years old and joined their toddler program recently. The staff team supported her transition period with patience and care. My daughter soon adapted to the environment here and loved her teachers. The teachers are very nice and responsible. They always answered my questions or concerns swiftly. Shout out to the new supervisor Grace, who provides professional management to this facility to ensure everything runs smoothly.

My daughter attended this center for preschool program, although there were some problems at the beginning, however with the new supervisor Mrs. Grace there was a significant improvement regarding the quality of care and education. She is so caring and professional and I noticed my daughter’s improvement in her behavior's after the new supervisor. That is why I would give 5 star for my recent experience. The foods/snacks are healthy and yummy and my daughter eats well. The communication throughout the app is very good. I just wanted to say thank you to Mrs. Grace and all the amazing teachers Mrs. Sihan, Sophie, Cheyenne and Diana for all of their support and love they have shown towards my daughter.

My daughter has been going to QMA since end of 2021 and she loves it! She became more sociable and independent couple of months after joining. The teachers are amazing, very supportive and very creative. The environment itself is very pleasant!
I would highly recommend this school as the principal and teachers are very pleasant to be around!

My elder one is attending this school from last 2 years and soon my younger one will join this school. I am so impressed with the management of this Montessori. The teachers are so compassionate and dedicated to children's overall development in studies, general knowledge, extra curricular activities. I am just thankful that my son got a good foundation.

We loved our time at Lyonsgate Montessori! Our kids were both in Casa North with Ms.O’Sullivan. She was an encouraging and kind teacher and our kids thrived in her class. They learned so much in their time at the school: French, life skills, math, early reading, kindness and compassion. We miss the school and would be an excellent choice for anyone interested in a Montessori school.

I wish I could give this school, and Ms. C., a thousand stars. I can’t speak highly enough of the level of attention, care and training my son, raised during the COVID years, has received from this school. The teacher, probably one of the kindest human beings you’ll ever meet, is authentic and invested in the children that attend the school. The traditional Montessori school was established by Ms. C., more than 20 years ago and truly adheres to Maria Montessori’a pedagogy. Through the program, my son has been able to develop his own initiatives and natural abilities, at his own pace, through practical play.
Prior to attending Markham Montessori School (MMS), my son was anti-social and lacked communication skills due to lack of socialization stemming from the pandemic lockdown. Now, my son is thriving, independent and loves school. Thanks to Ms. C., and her team’s care and patience, my son loves to read, communicates better, knows how to use the potty and partially dresses himself. I mean the teacher and staff are wizards and are incredibly astute in their job and beyond. My partner and I love this school so much that we have focused our home purchase expedition primarily in the Markham area. We have also added my second kid, at just four months old, to the school’s wait list to afford him equal developmental opportunity and access to this sought-after school.
I can go on forever about this school and our MMS community. It’s amazing and rare. Don’t think twice, enrol your child immediately!!!
On a final note, I think Ms. C., and her team should be honoured as National Treasures. Trust me, Harry Potter ain’t got nothing on the magic of MMS.

Ms. Connie is super passionate about children and she is also humble in accepting praise on the amazing montessori guidance and strong academic foundation she instills in each and every child.
Our family is blessed to have both of our boys at her school (since 18 months) and they will both be completing JK, SK and grade 1 at Markham Montessori School primarily because of the strong academic curriculum of reading, writing, math and science.

VSMS has been great for my daughter. She started at 16months in the toddler room. Ms. Wei Yee (Supervisor) has been amazing from dealing with my check-up calls 3 times a day the first week, to always answering my questions promptly. As a first-time mom it's natural to feel worried about leaving your child in a new environment. My daughter had major separation anxiety and while it was normal for her to cry at drop off during the first week, she quickly felt comfortable after only two weeks. She asks to go to school now and even gives me hugs and kisses before running off to her teachers! She has also learned so many things in a short period of time - colours, numbers, letters, songs, and general mannerisms like cleaning up toys and pushing in her chair. Thank you VSMS for providing a safe and welcoming environment for my daughter!

Update November 2023: We're back to our daycare with our second child and I'm very happy with the overall service and care for my toddler. Ms. Sapu's organization and flexibility, Ms. Dewan and Ms. Budwani, and all the staff's care and dedication to all the children, is reassuring that my toddler is in good hands. They have great Montessori activities for the children, music and French classes, every week is dedicated to different relevant subjects and activities around it. Teachers will up bring you up to date providing a summary of your children's progress with a report as well. The food is very delicious, nutritious and well-balanced, menus are sent with options as well. They have a beautiful playground and it's overall a clean, and great facility.

My family and I, are very happy with Queens Montessori Academy (QMA). As a small family with no extended family here in Canada, it was very important for us to find support in a daycare that was align with our values, high quality education but also, offering warmth and support to our daughter. We've had amazing experiences with the Director, Ms. Sapu, teachers such as Ms.Budhwani, Ms. Pan, Ms. Asin and Ms. Dewan, which have been supporting and helping our daughter throughout this journey, they are all amazing and have a great passion for what they do.
We definitely recommend QMA and will be coming back for our new baby :)

My son just started casa this year and he has a great experiences and enjoy to school daily. His favorite teacher Ms May shows her cares and also Ms. Kopi cheer up my son always. He learns a lot from the school and have a good manner. Everyday when I dropped him, he gave me a hug and kisses and then holding teacher's hand go up to his classroom and wave downstairs to me. The school put an extra precaution and make sure kids have mask on which ease my worries. Ms Wei Yee is nice and patience to answer my concerns. From every week crafts return, I know what my son has learnt beside checking the calendar. I can feel the school is full of love and care even tho the size isn't that big in size. It located in a quite area, not in the plaza, not on the busy road and safe from traffic noise. When selecting the school, the most important is the kid enjoys it or not but not the parents. If the kid dislikes the school and only likes by the parents, there is no motivation and aspiration for the kid to the school. I am happy that VSMS provides a good environment which cheer up my son. Thanks.

Don’t recommend. Bad experience not friendly and very expensive.

My daughter has been taking senior Casa online classes since 2020 because of the pandemic. We love that UMS provides a real full cycle online option to their students even after the pandemic, so that my daughter can stay with her familiar classmates and teachers who work specifically for this online class from school . The academic focus of UMS is well-known in Markham and after two years of online study my daughter is capable of reading simple chapter books by herself! Our teacher Ms. Luegger is super in her kids-friendly-science-field and my daughter got a chance to learn something new about science form her on daily basis. Ms. Luegger is patient and super organized(which is important for online situations ), she also encourages daily-life-show and tell between kids so that they get to know each other even from computer screens! Love the experience from UMS and will join UMS elementary school in coming September .

My kid has been in RHMS since JK. Here is just a like a big family, all teachers and staffs are very dedicated. We are really appreciated that RHMS provide a positive and progressive environment for the students. Offering our kid very strong academic and character achievement. Especially in academic, RHMS has really strong reputation in the system. That’s why he could have the opportunity to get offer from UCC. This honour is not only belongs to us but also belongs to RHMS. Again, very appreciated everything RHMS did for my kid and our family.

I have both of my children with UMS in senior casa and pre casa. I must say this is the best choice I made for both of the kids.
The church location is very cozy and staff and teachers are very friendly and pay attention to my child needs and also great communication with the parents. The teachers are amazing that my daughter look forward going to school everyday!
The senior casa program is well balance in academic and fun activities. My son has learned a lot from the program and most importantly he loves his teachers!
During pandemic we tried the online option for my son and I am very impressed with the online learning. The teachers truly put in a lot of effort to make sure kids are learning and progress. I am very thankful that UMS school and the teachers were able to adapt to online learning quickly during lockdown!. It is not a easy change for the school and teachers!
Overall, I believe UM is a great school with great administration and teacher team! Highly recommended!

Our son has been attending UMS for 2 years now. He loves attending the school and his teachers. We are really happy with the progress that my son made in learning and character growth as well. UMS managed a great communication channel with parents and this is really helpful during Covid when parents can not go inside and meet the teachers personally. We highly recommend UMS to others.

My daughter was in love with UMS once we visited the school’s campus and met the teachers at the open house. I appreciated UMS’s mission and philosophy of education, also it is one of the very few Montessori schools that have their own R&D department for programs development.
She started in the pre Casa program at the age of 2 and now is 5 in senior Casa program. She has been progressing so well, loving her teachers and classmates; the school has created a challenging academic environment to help her to develop her characters. Her teachers are professional, nurturing and caring; as well as the administration staff are helpful and responsive.
During the covid pandemic, the school keeps updating me any new protocol/ policy, it can help calm my worried mind.
UMS has totally met my expectations, I have no hesitation in recommending it!

RHMS has a rigorous academic curriculum that ensured that both my children were well prepared when it came to to put through applications for continued studies elsewhere. Our family truly appreciates the full hearted attention and dedication that all the faculty gave our children through the years. We will always have fond memories of our time there.

My boys have attended UMS for the last 11 and 7 years respectively. We have always been thoroughly satisfied with the level of academic excellence the teachers instill in the kids at an early age. Given our tenure as parents of students at UMS there isn't enough space to list them by name, so I will say that no matter who your child gets the quality of the education is second to none. The enrichment programs UMS offers provide a wide range of activities to stimulate their developing minds. So shout out to the Teachers at UMS!
The staff at UMS has also demonstrated a genuine interest in the development, socialization and academic excellence as well. They are always available to speak with parents and regularly communicate with the parents which is a unique "One Team" mindset.
Finally, the well planned and executed education programs as a result of the current COVID-19 pandemic has proven that the same level of excellence they expect from our children is exemplified in the entire Staff at UMS. How they handled the variables to provide a revolutionary style in-class and online program provide parents with options without having to sacrifice quality. The systems they put in place made it easy to monitor our children's progress, interact with teachers and understand what was happening... All at our fingertips!
Unlike many other schools, the kid's academic experience remained unchanged whether online or in-class. The standards were clear and delivered very well. Parents were never required to teach the material, which led the kids to continue learning. Kids became experts at collaborative tools like Google docs, Google Classroom, Google meet and Zoom! This alone sets them apart from many elementary students.
I highly recommend UMS to any parent looking for quality education from the best in the business. While I am just a parent, I am VERY happy with the level of commitment by the entire staff at UMS over the past 11 years.

It is a fantastic school with responsible and patient teachers. My son has been staying this school for three year, I put him in this school on the second day he arrived Canada. He got a lot of help from the staff and feel very happy to go to school. The Academy education is also impressive in this school, my son learnt a lot of things there, language, math, French and formed a habit of reading. Anne, the owner of the school is real educator who cares about the full development of children. Totally, a 5 star school.

My son started in the infant class and just graduated from their Montessori program this year. From the get go, I felt safe having him enrolled there. The staff and the teachers are friendly and I always felt like it was a warm environment.
While there was a bit of silence during the start of the pandemic last year, I do understand that it was a tough time for everyone. But once things were running again, communications were sent out and the fees adjusted. Any questions I had were answered promptly thereafter.
No school is perfect, but it was the trust and relationship I had with the staff and teachers that I appreciated the most. There were always open to communication and will address your concerns. I always appreciate the work that the teachers put into getting to know each child and understand their progress.
Most of all, my son was always happy coming out of school. They developed a love of learning in him at the start and that is something I will forever be grateful for.
Thank you VSMS for all that you’ve done for my son and us as a family!

I have had the pleasure and privilege to have been a part of this wonderful school in many different capacities-including Registrar, Vice-Principal, and Gym Teacher, beginning in 1994 and only completing my tenure in the new year 2021. This long time frame and the varied roles, have given me a wide and thorough perspective of the dynamics of all areas of the school.
As such, I could share an unreasonably long post of positives, instead I want to focus on what has impacted me the strongest.
This is a school where individuals are treated with respect, care, appreciation, guidance and kindness-students, staff, parents- every member of the community. This is what will always stick with me.
All of the great qualities of the school-high level academics, the STEM program, the integration of technology, the overall balance of the program (strong in the arts and physical education) would be meaningless without the respect and care people are shown each day. It is a truly wonderful group of administration/educators who ensure that this special quality always remains constant.
When you walk in the doors you can feel the positive energy right away and when the wonderful children are immediately heard and seen politely and warmly giving such friendly greetings and of course the staff as well, you know that you’ve walked into somewhere special. I will miss this part the most.
I think back to talking with parents on the phone and answering the many questions and at the end of each conversation encouraging those families to simply come see for themselves. I knew that nothing positive I said would not also be seen when they came to visit or actually joined the community and this was exactly the same for staff, when I was involved in the hiring process-I knew when they became a member of the school they would see that all the positive descriptions were completely accurate.
I am happy that there is a venue like this one (reviews) to share in writing what has, for so many years, been in my heart and mind and always will be.

We were fortunate enough to find Markham Montessori when we moved to Markham. Our child graduated from the school after being given a strong foundation which will last them a lifetime. If you are truly interested in gaining exposure to the Montessori pedagogy, this school should be at the top of your list. Ms. Connie takes great pleasure and pride in setting her students up for success, each of them is taught to hone their capabilities. MMS students do amazing things because they are made to believe it's simply in them to do so.

My son spent 3 happy years here and graduated this summer. I'm really glad his first step started with Marander Montessori School. Teachers are very knowledgeable and nice, management is very efficient. There are good space for children to play outside. My son likes the food.

My son has been attending Marander for preschool and JK for the past 2 years. This is a second home for him. He adores both of his teachers and misses them deeply during lockdown. All the staff are caring and exceptional at what they do. The management is also on the top of everything. My son will be attending SK in September.
I highly recommend Marander for all parents wanting to give the very best start for their children.

My daughter has been at Marander for 5 years and my son will be entering his 4th year in September. The education they have received is phenomenal. Almost all the students graduate being able to read at a minimum of gr. 1 level. This is accomplished through their reading program. Students are given readers which are read at home and at school to the teacher. They have a phonics system prior to beginning to read. If students are ready, they begin to write their own sentences with the understanding of nouns, adjectives and verbs.
As for math, by graduation, most students are able to understand the basics of multiplying and adding/subtracting 4 digit numbers with 4 digit numbers. They learn through the use of traditional Montessori material and are supplemented with worksheets when they are ready for completing the questions abstractly.
If you are thinking of a Montessori program for your child, I would recommend you to take a tour of Marander. We chose Marander over public school because of the superior education our children received and because of the student teacher ratio.

The staff and admin team at Marader are great, informative and mostly very nurturing to their children. After having our first son start at another local daycare due to no spots available and then transferring him when a spot was opened we noticed a huge difference in our son and our comfort level with their system. We now have our second child enrolled with them and couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.

Our son will be graduating this year from UMS. The school has an outstanding approach to looking at the individual needs of every child and truly working with them to reach their maximum potential. We appreciate how tirelessly the staff worked through March break so the school could continue virtually immediately after March break using the premium version of the Zoom. They have done an outstanding job teaching the curriculum despite the short notice schools were provided to close their premises. I feel my son has not missed out in any way by not being able to actually attend school in person. The administration and staff have worked very collaboratively through a difficult time to make this happen and to ensure that our children are prepared for the next school year.
The staff at the school have always gone above and beyond any time my family had an issue to reach a good resolution and most importantly ensure my son was well equipped for academic success. I will always be grateful for years my son has had at UMS and I have mixed feelings seeing him graduate this year given his positive experience. It will be very difficult for him to ever find another school that provide him with as much flexibility and learning
opportunities as this institution has.
I would also like to acknowledge the staff. In addition to being principal Mr. Treherne is a phenomenal leader who has created a culture of kindness and respect across the entire school. As well, he is a mentor to the children. He always says his door is always open for staff , students and parents and that is always true. He encourages the students to voice their concerns and problem solves with them in an extremely patient way. He understands the children on a personal and unique level and does his best to bring out the best in them so they can achieve their maximum potential while feeling confident and calm to do so.
To have my son have the opportunity to experience such a unique learning environment is something we will always cherish.

We enrolled our 3 sons (aged 4,4,2) in Montessori North. The teachers there are all extremely caring and attentive. Our questions and concerns are always addressed in detail and in a timely manner. The children enjoys going to school, and tells us they have lots of fun in class.

I liked MNS for my kids because I wanted a small school setting. My other older child went to one of the larger montessoris in Markham and I felt that it was too big for my liking. I enjoy seeing the same teachers everyday taking care of my kids and knowing all the teachers at the school. I also enjoy knowing and seeing most of the parents at the school compared to the larger Montessori.
The teachers at MNS are very caring and also diligent. I could tell that my kids were well cared for because of the excitement they would have to go to school and also the things that they would mention when I ask them about their day.
As for academics, I am satisfied with the results so far. One of my kids, who also went to MNS a few years ago, is back in the public school system and the foundation she built at MNS is very evident based on the feedback received from her different teachers and the continued success she's had with the school curriculum. She's been in the public school for a number of years now and she learns everything with such ease (so far). She is analytical, collaborative, engaged, creative, etc.

Since my son (age 4) and daughter (age 2) started at Montessori North, I’ve seen such amazing progress with their development and can see how comfortable they are at school. All of the teachers are incredibly caring, knowledgable and take special care with each of their students. Mrs Anahita takes the time to teach the children yoga and does a wonderful job in teaching them new skills. I highly recommend this school as it’s a nurturing environment and I can see that both of my children enjoy being there. Thank you to all of the gifted teachers for all of their hard work and for making it such a wonderful experience for them!

Both my son and daughter are studying at MNS from pre-casa to casa class now. I love the small class setting which makes both of my kids settle for school so much easier. My son has been with the same head teahers Ms. Sara and Ms. Chan for almost 4 years. He is graduating this year and head to grade 1. The teachers have been amazing to my kids. They learn Mandarin, Spanish, French, Maths and English( phonics, readings) during class. They also do art works, sensorial fun acitivities. All of their school workbooks and artworks were sent home once a month. I am so happy to see both my kids makes lots of good friends from school. They also make such nice academic progress. All I have to say is thank you MNS and all of the wonderful staffs.

All 3 of my kids go to Montessori North School. They went to Donald Cousens daycare previously, which the staff and school was also great! However, 2 things I must say I noticed:
1. Maybe because the teacher:student ratio, my kids come home clean everyday! Well as clean as toddlers can be. I can feel there's a high level of structure within the school and staff members.
2. My kids sing to me in Chinese, English and SPANISH. They must be having fun and well engaged in class to be my little radio on the way home.
I am a working mom, and pick up my kids at 5:30 after work. It is reassuring to see teachers giving my kids healthy snacks during pick up. So, thank you all -- for all that you do. You guys have been very understanding, and supportive in all aspects.

Anne and the staff are the best, so passionate about kids' growth and so kind. The size of the school is perfect. The environment and structure are very conducive to learning. My kids have a head start thanks to KMS. Thank you Anne, Amy, Ms Connie and Ms Singh.

My daughter has attended UMS since pre school. I had no doubt she would attend a private school but choosing the right one was a challenge. Once I read all the reviews about UMS and the heavy focus on studies, it was an indubitable decision. Currently my daughter is 7 years old and she has a thirst for learning. Her teachers in elementary are positive and encouraging and give her the right tools to further enhance her love for knowledge. This is the perfect school for parents who are hands on and looking strictly for the academics provided by the school. I would recommend this school to anyone who places a heavy emphasis on learning.

My daughter didn't want to go to school when she was attending Montessori North.
The owner is a business woman, she only cares about her business.

I worked at RHMS for almost 20 years as a co-teacher. I recently retired, with mixed feelings I must say, because it was such a pleasant place to work for!
During my tenure at RHMS I observed that children were educated in a professional and caring manner, and most parents were satisfied.
The school campus is new and spacious, and the staff are approachable, friendly and receptive. And the school owners are great.
Based on my personal experience spanning two decades, I can confidently say that this is one of the best private schools in the GTA. I would highly recommend RHMS to anyone who is considering private education for their children.

Sent both my kids here.. teachers great. Only problem is they now close for "March break"😞

The intent that drives the staff and the conscious design of the program is a model that I hope will be increasingly adopted by the broader school system.

I like the small class size. I'm sending both of my children to Markham Montessori School and would recommend it to my friends and family.

A gem in the heart of Markham! We visited several Montessori schools in the area and MMS was the best by far. Authentic Montessori with results that show. Thank you Connie!

Terrible! The stuff they get away with here is horrible. I rather pay a bit more and go to a Montessori a bit farther.

My experience with this school was not favourable. The director and staff were not clear/honest with their communication. I question the safety standards and their transparency.

Fantastic school with great teachers. The whole school is designed to help children develop a healthy personality and mindset so they can love to learn and progress instead of "forcing" them to accumulate information. Anne Dimoff is the principal and they also have another school at Agincourt which is another excellent school using the same teaching concepts.

My daughter has spent several years at Lyonsgate, and I could not be more pleased with the school. The staff clearly have a passion for education and a keen interest in the students. The opportunities for learning in a diverse, stimulating and child-centred environment are simply excellent. I'm confident Lyonsgate has prepared my child for her future academic career and life as a good global citizen, as well as helping her on her way to becoming her best self.

One of teacher was good!
Director is a business woman but not an educator. Terrible management!
They called me many many times to push me enrolled my daughter get into this daycare. After 2 months the supervisor tell me my daughter has to leave school, she needs the spot for another baby (she also mention to me they can take out any baby’s spot with any reason). I tried to described with school principal but didn’t answer at first weeks (I didn’t feel security to put my daughter there and withdrawal her back to home). After i followed up with the principal she respond me by email said : “Montessori North School matters are dealt by Ms Sara & the staff there”
They never put babies mental health at first oriented!
Also, school has notice asking parents contribute 4 snacks each month. Very small at money !!
I share my story here to avoid have similar thing happening at another baby. As all people know baby needs 2 to 3 weeks to accept a new place.

We feel very fortunate to have our youngest child attending Lyonsgate Montesorri. She is thriving there. Her spoken French and understanding of conversational French is excellent. Through the school she completes independent projects and engages in the community. She is driven and motivated to learn in this setting. We cannot say enough about the Lyonsgate team. They have been amazing. We moved to Hamilton in 2007, And Lyonsgate has since been a part of our family ( our 2 older children attended when we first moved to Hamilton ). So pleased all of our children were able to have this experience.

We have been sending our children to Lyonsgate since 2013. The education is strong and respectful of each child’s needs. The Montessori pedagogy and spirit are highly respected. The institution has been growing a lot lately while preserving a sense of family like environment. The staff is amazing, engaged with the children and very friendly with the parents.
It’s comforting to place your child in an environment where their needs and well being are the priority.

I live in the Kirkendall neigbourhood and my kids have been attending Lyonsgate Montessori for many years. I myself grew up in the neighbourhood and attended all the public schools here. I also know that everyone I talk to at Lyonsgate is super happy with the school. For me, it is not only a great place for learning everything from kindness, academics, real life skills and grace but it's also a family school. This school has a strong community. I can say that my kids are thriving at Lyonsgate Montessori and I as an adult wish that I could be there everyday! It is completely worth every penny to see my kids so happy and excited to learn. The staff at Lyonsgate are kind, polite and fair. I wish I could give a higher review than 5 stars!

We moved two hours to Hamilton so our children could attend Lyonsgate. It was the best decision for our kids we have made yet. They started Montessori in grade five and the difference in them since September is night and day. Their world view, understanding of their place in it and their grasp of math has broadened in a way we never could have imagined. The teachers and staff are amazing and so helpful. The principal is a joy. Our kids have never been happier!

My three children attended Lyonsgate Montessori over a course of 7 years. I can honestly say that my experience during the entire 7 years was absolutely outstanding. The staff genuinely care for children and it shows in both the programming and in the way my children have all felt while attending and after attending Lyonsgate. I would highly recommend this school to anyone, and if you know me personally I have likely already done so to you. The fees were extremely reasonably priced in comparison to other Montessori’s and even daycares. As a high school teacher (who is married to an accountant) our standards for both price, value, service, quality and education are extremely high. Lyonsgate and Rachel exceeded all of our expectations. If there was ever a concern, it was addressed immediately and in a very caring way. Ms Kennedy is amazing as are all the other teachers. You would be lucky to get a spot there for your child becuase they will benefit immensely as a result!

We are fortunate to have such a wonderful school in our neighbourhood and cannot say enough good things about the director, teachers and other staff. The atmosphere is both caring and stimulating and our child has blossomed over the four years he has attended Lyonsgate Montessori.

This is a friendly and nurturing environment for children to start their path to self-development.
The staff are friendly and skilled, and the Montessori materials are of good quality.

Absolutely Amazing School! My daughter attended this school and I cannot believe the educational advancements she has made since attending. She has been thriving academically and her behaviour has been so positive it's unbelievable. I love the staff, cleanliness and curriculum. I would suggest this to any parent wanting the absolute best for their children! Thank you RHMS!

Two of my kids go to RHMS and they love it. Staff are professional, passionate and well-rounded. The school has great facilities that allows the kids to learn in a well-balanced school; academics are just as important as play time. What's even better is the security of the school so I know my children are well taken care of and safe. I definitely recommend RHMS.

best montessori school in Markham. we tried couple of places before we put our daughter. I would say education at best here.

Our 2 girls are at RHMS for last 4 years and we all are very happy. It is not only highly academic but also has helped them to develop their other skills , public speaking, music, mentoring, team sports. Art program is amazing. Both my girls love art room a lot. School environment is very friendly and so far we are happy with all the teachers. No bullying. School certainly is striving to do better and better. school food policies keep junk food under control and helps kids to make healthier choices. Technology is used to well in classrooms to supplement the education not overtaking it.

We chose Kennedy Montessori School for our child because of a friend's recommendation, but it turned out to be such a disappointment. My neighbour's daughter goes to a regular kindergarten class in a public school and she's learning much more than my child learned there! Generally speaking, the staff at Kennedy Montessori school is nice enough, but the principal doesn't seem to care much about academics. In fact, another friend whose two children both went to this school told us that the previous teacher in the elementary room left because her teaching philosophy was not in line with Mme Dimoff, who's both the principal and the owner. We heard that the quality of teaching and learning has been deteriorating there. We would not recommend this school to anyone.

We researched several Montessori schools before sending our son to Kennedy Montessori. At Kennedy Montessori, the dedication and commitment to educational excellence, starts from the top with Mme Dimoff and trickles down. The staff is enthusiastic and very good at what they do. Besides having an enriched curriculum, it is a welcoming and culturally diverse environment, where everybody knows your name. Our son loves going to school and in less than a year has progressed in leaps and bounds.
