Went there for the second time already. Nice ambiente and friendly owner. Not only steaks are swinging but also some veggie pattys, if you are vegetarian don't worry, you will get some good food too! Vegan option is a plate of the side dishes without meat or veggie patty.
The food is tasty and just what you need after visiting Monument Valley and Mexican Hat.

What a cool place for a delicious steak! Not many places to eat in this area but this is a winner! There was hardly anyone there when we arrived but by time we left, it was full of diners!

Made an unplanned stop here for dinner on my way back from Monument Valley. I had the muley burger between two slices of grilled Texas toast. The burger was delicious and juicy, and I might prefer a burger between grilled toast now. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Just be careful if you go on a windy day because ashes from the fire can blow toward you.

After a long day of riding we were craving steak, once we got to the swingin steak we were disappointed. Save yourself eat somewhere else like the cafe on the San Juan River at the hotel. This place is severely over priced. We walked across the street to buy beer as the Swingin steak had a sign BYOB. We quickly learned that they charge you $2.00 per your own beer. I get it its a small town, but I’d would have rather bought some hot dogs at the Exxon gas station. Will never eat there again. $68 rib eye? No way.

Rare hamburger meat is not appetizing. Asked for it to be cooked more and it still was on the raw side. This place could be a cool place to eat if they showed a bit more patience in their cooking time. People would be willing to wait for their food especially if they knew it wouldn't be raw.

This was exactly the meal I wanted while in the Utah outback. Hearty food in a good atmosphere.
I got the Flat Iron meal which was the lowest price steak. It was served with beans, a piece of Texas Toast (garlic bread) and a salad. The salad was very basic and the beans were a bit watery for my liking, but steak was good and I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere.
They do not have an alcohol license so you will need to BYO if you want to enjoy a beer with your meal.
Service is good and the payment terminal is surprisingly modern.

You have 2 basic choices: how big the steak is and how you want it cooked. Otherwise, it comes with pinto beans, Texas toast and house salad. Those are all the choices you need though. The food was delicious and the staff were authentic. Definitely recommend!
