Good and traditional Alsacia food.

Your very Alsacien food restaurant with typical dishes from the region. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting area. Outdoor area is shaded with greenery. The only issue is some of the items in their menu are not available when asked. Some servers speak English. Kids and family friendly for sure

We've noticed that Riquewihr offers a very specific type of food - Alsatian food. And why wouldn't they? So we did our best to embrace the culture and upon arriving here we ordered 4 different wines to try along with some cheese covered spätzle. There wasn't a whole lot of seating but we were lucky to catch a little lounge toward the back of the restaurant outside under some umbrellas. Service was nice. The food was... cheesy. ;)

Just went there with my wife, I ordered the special with the white asparagus with a few slices of ham and 2 sauces (no complexity). Unfortunately 4/6 asparagus pieces were not peeled at all which I didn't notice with the first bite and I almost choked(!).

Please make sure that this very fundamental kind of processing is taken care of before getting the dish out of the kitchen - especially when we're talking about the main ingredient.

What I liked was the ambience and decoratation of the restaurant.

Overall a pretty unpleasant experience in one of the most beautiful places in France.

We were a group and had a lot of different menus, and non of them were good.

The risotto was made of porridge-rice and was way too over cooked. The steaks were dry and overdone too. No tastes on the platter harmonized. The salads were unappealing and so was the dressing.
Maybe the chef were sick that day, because nothing was thought through.

The appetizers had awkward tastes and nothing really worked to be honest.

The only good thing was the wine and the water.

Honestly, would not go back and please.. if you get the chance, go somewhere else as there are plenty other good restaurants in the town.

I took a main course with 4 kind of meat. You suppose to eat some meat…not counted 4 small pieces inside a brode with potato and onion. Sorry but price quality non good: tourists place ….

Good tasty affordable food some cooked right there on the street which you can eat undercover or take away or you can order indoors a full meal .

Prices are affordable and meals where all delicious definitely would stop back by when in the area again to try creamy potato dish out front as the potato and sausage dish was very delicious.
