The entrance is right after the boat landing at the playground. Trail is scenic and there's a good chance you'll see wildlife. I've seen a deer, chipmunks, squirrels, herons, and a fox once. There's at least once small path that goes to the river where you could go fishing. Right near historic buildings but you can't visit them cause some guy from out of state owns them now. Towards the end of the trail, there's this great rocky port area where they used to attach the ships to metal rings. People love using this area for senior pictures and other professional type pictures. Path is light gravel terrain with some parts that are mostly grass. Flat stretches with some hills mixed in. Easy for beginners but not very accessible if you use a wheelchair. Very simple trail if you only go on the east side of the river. Technically, the Rail Trail is part of the Greenway but that trail is much longer.
