Good folks, good music. Clean taps as far as I can tell.

The vibe is classic Wisconsin dive. Very enjoyable. Was sitting right at the center of the bar and had to yell in order to get the attention of a bartender. It was not overly busy. Bartenders kept walking past our empty glasses and ignoring. Maybe they were having a bad night, but that was not our fault.

Great service from our bartender. Good beer list and excellent whiskey/ bourbon options. I love the pin ball machines here!

The UpNorth bar is its own special experience. Depending on the person this may be a great or terrible place to visit. It's a local watering hole. Nothing super special about it. If you know the local crowd who frequents this establishment you'll like it. If you don't, and have no interest in that.. don't come here. It's usually young dumb men. With that said.. its a good bar and can be fun. Service is resonable. They have two pinball machines! Outdoor seating available. Next to two other madison classic establishments.

Great bar with friendly staff, live music, and ample outdoor seating. Majeska Monday on the first Monday of each month is always a great time! 2 mixed drinks here have the same whammy of 3 drinks elsewhere. Great value@

Cool, spot plays live concerts on big screen, nice beer selection and comfortable crowd. Lots of parking in the back too, and shares space with other venues!
