Excellent place, we were engaged in learning and play easily for several hours. Staff were so kind too.

The science center is such a fun interactive place that you can explore for hours. Theres plenty to do for all ages little ones, and adults too. There's always a welcoming atmosphere with the staff and exciting experiments and activities to do in their classroom.

My daughter went here for a class trip and obviously wanted to take her brother there too. The tickets could be a little less prices for the amount of things there are there to do. Overall okay, validated parking included, you go on your own from one activity to the other.

Great place for children of all ages! The staff is very engaging. There are many hands-on activities and exhibits for children (and adults) to interact with. Parking is free at the double tree parking garage across the street when you get the staff to validate your parking. I highly recommend this place to anyone with kids.

This place is a hidden treasure for Berks County! My kids (2yrs & 4yrs old) have so much fun here. We can spend an entire afternoon playing and learning; free of meltdowns and boredom. Pricing is reasonable, but a family membership pays for itself within 2 visits. Plus, you get perks and special invites to events throughout the year. The only downside is the hours- it's open Tuesday and Saturday only...wish it was everyday!! Parking is hassle-free (park at the double tree and get validated inside the science center). It's truly a perfect way to spend the cold winter months.

Full disclosure: I went with my school on a field trip. So I don't know how much it cost, or if there is a wait or what is like when it's crowded. Went on a bus so have no idea about parking either. That's a question to figure out because it is in the city so street parking is limited. But I definitely recommend it. Perfect rainy day spot! Lots of fun science centers to look through. The ladies that work there are so fun and helpful.

The Reading Science Center is truly a gem in Berks County. The center has over 50 exhibits that make science hands-on and fun for kids of all ages! I love the lab they have set up where kids can see their own cells, extract DNA and more. There are other exhibits on forces and motion, sounds, and activities for younger children as well. The below photo is of the circuits activity where kids can learn how to light up bulbs, add switches, and create series and parallel circuits. This is a great place for kids to have fun while learning.
