Daniel and his team were super professional. I had emissions control problems with the warning light on and some hesitation upon starting and idling.
They gave a thorough diagnosis and identified the need for spark plug and injection system work.
Since they uncovered a hole near the connection to my catalytic converter, they tried to remedy this but discovered more leaks.
Each step of this process, they informed me and showed me photos. The solution involved welding, an additional pipe joint and several hours later it was resolved. I was thankful that they salvaged all existing pipe, muffler and catalytic converter without having to replace it all.
Very thorough analysis, communication and frank discussion about options at each step. My Honda Element (2008) runs smoother and quieter than it has in years.

I was having trouble finding reliable automotive assistance in finding out what was wrong with my car. A good friend of mine takes his car here and he trusts them so I followed his lead. I found the shop, very reliable and extremely helpful. They even take photos of the issues and text them to you. They also don’t pressure you and just tell you the facts. I took a Honda Civic in for a pre-purchase inspection on 11/11/23.
My tech was Frank B. and he was awesome! He did a thorough inspection of my car, showed me what items needed immediate attention, let me see the undercarriage of the car and even showed me the filthy engine air filter.
This information, along with the inspection report, was easy to understand; I ended up purchasing the car.
The office staff also provided great customer service when scheduling an appointment.

Was referred to this shop (location specific) for an O2 sensor that needed replaced but was stripped. After going to multiple places that either couldn’t do it or wouldn’t use the sensor I had already purchased from the dealer, they got the job done in half an hour! Christina was very friendly and informative. I highly recommend!

Meineke has been a great experience and very helpful both times I have been. I especially appreciate frank who takes the time to go through everything with customers and answers all questions to make sure you feel comfortable with what you’re purchasing! Their prices are fair and I feel that they really do their best for their customers.

Meineke has been a great place to take my vehicle for service. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, Christina will always help you out and answer questions. The online appointment setup is very easy, just select a time to drop off the vehicle and most of the time I’m able to get it back the same day.

They give lots of discounts, I’ve had AC checks, brake work, oil changes, tire rotations, etc. The provided detailed report is very useful for me to figure out what issues my vehicle has that needs to be addressed, with nice pictures taken from the mechanic as well. They are very transparent with part costs and labor so everything is listed there.

Would recommend to anyone in the North austin area. No hassle service and no up-selling at all.
