The lake is beautiful view. There are few reeds on the right. You see boats for fishing or boats exercise. In the summer there are many events once a week like music groups concerts. In the winter if it is very cold and the water freezes you can literally walk on ice. There are people who opens holes in the ice have tents and catch fish. Is beautiful!

A beautiful and clean park! Went out here for a picnic, and it was a nice time. The water was beautiful, and hearing the mourning doves was so peaceful.

This place is great! Benches throughout. Lake is gorgeous. Roses restaurant must visit, great food, service and atmosphere. Will return

John Collins Park is a great place to relax, and enjoy the views of Reeds Lake. Take a blanket and a picnic, and watch the skiers, kayaks, and sail boats. The paved walking trail will take you around the lake through the neighborhood, with some unpaved paths going through the trees.

Walked the Reeds Lake Trail with some friends. The route is fine, but a lot of it goes through neighborhood and along sidewalks. Overall, it was an okay trail and seems to be maintained well. This also seems to be a pretty popular spot as the weather was not great, but we still passed lots of people; we had to move over for others pretty often (or move to the street to let them pass).

This place is pretty as a postcard. Lots of people exercising and walking their dogs very friendly. There are plenty of clean well-shaded park benches to take a break on. The lake is beautiful, Great place for a morning walk.

Beautiful family park by Reeds Lake, with water sports in all seasons: yachting, ice fishing, you name it. Good restroom facilities on site, plus close proximity to a wonderful library, all kinds of restaurants, and an ice cream shop. We especially love their outstanding fireworks show every fourth of July.
