Misquamicut State Beach Parking Lot

Always loved this beach! It was really pretty on a late summer day.

Very nice beach with great ocean waves.

Not horrible but not the best either. There's plenty of parking and portapotties available but the portapotties are not very clean.

They also have bathrooms and showers available, the showers need change to work and are a bit expensive.

My biggest complaint is no one directing the exiting traffic.... there were 3 lanes trying to merge to the exit. One guy working there and just sitting doing absolutely nothing .

$30 for weekend out of state to park. Not bad…others were charging $40 -$50. Th line was long to enter but went by fast. Staff was nice. Even for a busy day there was ample parking.

$20 for out of state parking, even most businesses that extend parking to the beach, so park at the beach if you can. I went on a Thursday so there was plenty of parking. There are plenty of dumpsters and portapottys across the parking lot. The sand is very hot, so I recommend good footwear, not like me (flipflops). Outside of this the only reason I nocked a star is because I've been to other beaches and parks where they keep the sand cleaner all day. There was a bit of trash in the sand even when we arrived around 9. Overall fantastic day!
