Parkside Plaza

Parkside Plaza in San Mateo offers many useful retail stores. Since I have pets, my favorite is the Pet Club. The Pet Club offers Vet services each Sunday and the pet food is quality and reasonably priced. I noticed the installation of Tesla charging stations in the parking lot near the west end. I also shop at Smart & Final when I am in the area. The parking lot at Parkside Plaza seems safe and there is always plenty of parking.

Good grocery
They don't have automatic check out though.

Glad to have Smart and Final, Office Depot and Pet Club all in one spot. Still waiting for another good cafe ...

Went to Pet Club and was amused to see a pigeon shopping for food. It was ok cause he had his vaccinations and was practicing social distancing.

Good shopping center. Smart and Final, Pet Club, Office Depot ate the big stores here. Goid size for them all. Also has a good small dog grooming place as well as some other stores. Park a little away and you can always find a place. Can be a bit hard getting in and out of this center as it is on a pretty main road and doesn't have a signal for access just a turn lane. Getting out I recommend using the exit by Office Depot as you have a bit longer to get in the lane you need too.

Decent prices but they need to update their selection of ice cream/gelato. They haven't had good brand names in a long time. Other Grocery outlets have had better selections. Same with their beer and no dog jerky treats in ages.
