Amazing food and the staff was so so nice, too. Really felt like being back in Thailand.
The pad Thai was awesome- really authentic, but the crispy pork belly blew us away! The sauce was something else!
Not much space but definitely worth a little wait. We were here on a random Thursday and it was packed - rightfully so.

Can't believe I've never been here before. The food was absolutely amazing. Full of flavours and great portion sizes. Would highly recommend it if you're after authentic and good Thai food.

I ordered home take away. There are some incredible Thai places in Edinburgh who deliver and I’ve never seen this place before so thought I’d give it a try. My bad.

Prices on expensive side, assumed due to great quality, no. Then realised they are about 20/30% higher when ordering via Uber so they choose to do home delivery and expect us to cover their fees?

Thai green curry - think of a green soup with all the salt needed for a small family.

Pad Thai - bland. All the salt in the curry.

Tempura vegetables - I’d be embarrassed to charge a customer nearly £8 for this (see picture). Measly. Crooks.

I cannot fathom the rating this place has.

We were visiting Edinburgh from NYC. We were dissatisfied by a few restaurants until we ate at The Thailander. We ordered Corn Fritters, Pad Thai, and Pad See Ew and it was so good we had to try the Mango Sticky Rice. Everything was amazing - thank you!

I have eaten a few good Thai meals and must say this is up there with them. Excellent tasty food and very friendly service. Only a small place, so be aware when turning up on spec maybe have to wait for a while. Food was delivered promptly and we had a good crack with the staff. All round marvellous experience.

Only place in Scotland that actually does proper authentic Thai street food. The place is small and intimate. Has a BYOB with corkage fee and 5% discount if pay by cash.

I order Mango & Sticky Rice, Banquet for 2 & Green curry with chicken! Amazing taste!
Hope that to visit again to taste other Thai food on menu!
