Burgers and Beers Grillhouse

Me and my boyfriend were on our holiday and came to this place to try it out.
Omg the burgers were very filling but so good! We're glad to see that they have veggie or vegan options for the patties as well. Cluck-less chicken is a good one.
We had lovely cocktails with toasted meringues on top, lemon meringue pie cocktail and the macaroon cocktails.
And we were both done after we finished ourselves with the tea tunnocks shakes. Totally filled up our bellies.🤪😆

Honestly, this was a great place to get some grub and have a pint. I went to two other places before, and I was standing waiting. (Long story, let's say their service had different standards) Instantly was welcomed by the bartender, my server was phenomenal. I had to ask her name, it's Lauren. Not only great to me, but the entire area. Checked on us all in a timely manner, bubbly, and great at her job. Food was quick, and it's exactly what you would expect. Burgers and beer. I got the nice 'n' cheesy, and I'm a vegetarian. It was no problem, was recommended a local beer. Food came right away, like I'm talking 15minutes. This is exactly what I needed after a long day of travel and exploring. I hope anyone looking for cozy local food, decides to stop by. I think too, the burger I ate was filling and didn't make me feel gross after. It's simple in a good way, I'm so happy I stopped here. This is spacious, good vibe, not too loud. And a variety of people are here- of all ages and experiences. I would 10/10 come here again and I wish we had it in Canada!

Amazing restaurant. Staff were super friendly and provided great service. No-nonsense menu with interesting options, and the food was excellent. Clean and well maintained bathrooms and seating areas. The beer was real good too, would recommend the coast to coast IPA. Would happily go again!

Whole experience here was great l!!! Right next to where we were staying which was super convenient! Ryan our server was great and mesmerised our whole order without a pad which we found very impressive!! Food was incredible too had the build your own burger which starts at just £12 and was huge!!! Kitchen definitely outdid themselves!! Sweet potato fries were out of this world however halloumi fries had a bit too much sauce but that’s personal preference!!! Thank you so much to ruan and team for the incredible night will definitely be returning!!! 💕💕💕

Good service, great Mac and cheese!
The grilled chicken was a little bit dry (but that's quite normal for a grilled chicken tbh) but the sauce that came with it was not good. A good sauce would make all the difference.

If you fancy a burger then I definitely recommend this place. Has very original choices and they are all super tasty. Prices are reasonable considered it’s in a very central area of Edinburgh city center. The person who served us was also very kind, friendly and smiling, was a pleasure to be served by him.

Amazing food! We came here twice during our stay in Edinburgh because it tasted so good (especially the sweet potato fries). It's quite expensive, but worth the money! As Harry Potter fans, we also enjoyed the Ginny Weasley cocktail 😉
