Bro Restaurant

Wir waren Ostersonntag hier essen, vielleicht war es deswegen etwas leer und wir die einzigen Gäste. Drei Kellner wuselten um uns herum und haben die Bestellungen aufgenommen, konnten uns die Unterschiede der Gerichte aufgrund mangelnder Englischkenntnisse jedoch leider nicht verraten. Wir hatten Reis Biryani, einmal mit Seafood und einmal mit Chicken. Wir hatten extra „nicht scharf“ bestellt. Der Reis war sehr trocken und der dazu gestellte Ketchup daher dringend nötig. Das was jedoch gar nicht ging, waren Chicken und Seafood: Beides war frittiert, knochentrocken und kalt. Leider überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen.
Als es in Strömen zu regnen anfing (kommt ja öfter mal vor in diesem Land) hat es durchs Dach geregnet.

When we arrived on Monday evening at around 7.30pm the restaurant was fairly busy. They serve beer so we enjoyed a Lion beer before ordering. We ordered a 'full' vegetable noodles with a fried egg, but the waiter got our order wrong and served us vegetable rice with a fried egg. He was very apologetic and whisked it away and ten minutes later our vegetable noodles with a fried egg appeared. The meal was fine and tasty, but we were very disappointed with the size of the 'full' meal as we would have expected a far larger portion.

First night in Sri Lanka, expectations for food are exceedingly high after eating at Bro. The Dolphin Kottu was delicious !!

On 20th January 2024, we ordered veggie kotthu & veggie fried rice for dinner. We put our order around 8.50 p. m. They delivered our order nearly at 9.40 to the place where we stayed (Delmond Lake ). They charged only Rs. 100/- for delivery 👍
The portion of food was larger than we expected 🥰. Also, food wasn't too much spicy or oily.
The especial thing I noticed was the way they served food, in clay pots.. It made us so much surprised.. 💚
Anyway, Highly recommended their food, 👌Good Luck to keep your good qualities ahead 🎉

The portion of food is larger than we expected! We ordered the mixed grill plate and carbonara pasta. It was good. Valuable price!

Very friendly staff.
We liked the food, it was for us not very spicy , but that's because we are very used to eating spicy. But the spices on the table helped.
