Had a fantastic dinner experience at Palhena Restaurant with a friend! The location is superb, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Anuradhapura!

Amazing food!! We went there a couple times it was so good. So relaxed and delicious . Fair prices and friendly staff too. Loved the vegetable curry !!favourite I’ve had so far.
I went to this restaurant as my travel book was mentioning a cosy place with excellent food (which is indeed the case). I have been pleased by the friendly and very helpful staff. I can only recommend this restaurant!
Wir waren während unseres Aufenthaltes zwei Mal hier essen. Sehr schöne Location, freundliches Personal und super leckeres Essen. Wären wir länger hier, wären wir nochmal gekommen. Schade war nur, dass unsere Essen beim zweiten Besuch mit sehr großem zeitlichen Abstand serviert wurden. Daher beim Service ein Stern Abzug.

A clean place and a relaxed atmosphere!
🌱 Not a super amount of vegan options, be sure to check the Kottu if you order it (ask about cheese). However, the food I had was tasty and I believe the veg and rice is both vegan and gluten free :)

The food was very good, it was the best meal I had in Sri Lanka! I went with a group of 16 people and service was fast and all dishes were as we ordered. Price was good for what we got, considering as well that the portions were very big! The staff was also very considerate and, as we are foreigners, they asked what was the spice level for every dish. Really recommend
