Homophobia is alive and well at this restaurant in Colonia, Uruguay. I told the owners and staff what the “f” word means in Spanish and how offensive it is to LGBTQ visitors. They said “thanks” and didn’t take down the offensive word. I checked back an hour later, still there. Shame on the owners of this restaurant. DO NOT spend your money here.

This place is on a nice side street with an intimate view but honestly not worth the prices they are charging, we had very average food and service was ok. I recommend if you’re here for a day trip from Argentina that you exchange some Uruguayan pesos and pay in the local currency or you’ll end up paying a lot more if you try to pay in Argentina pesos. We leave this the hard way unfortunately.

Excellent food. They have different kinds of food from all over the world. I’ve tried the lomo saltado and it was impeccable! They had a singer that night that was really delightful!

It was never opened the multiple times I visited even though it said open on Google apps.
