The foods are ok nothing special but the historical dining area are something special. We came to this place is because the dining room, the sunroom and outdoor garden.

The waitress who served us was really nice and warned us the food might take a bit longer due to a large group. When it came, the food was quite bad - mushy pasta and plasticky mozzarella sticks. It was also very cold inside

Upon arrival appeared very nice but the staff was clearly annoyed by our presence. No warm fuzzies as they were serving us, perhaps because we were part of a cruise excursion? Topped off with the fact that the beef dish we ordered was overcooked and when one of our groups dessert order was wrong they made it look as if it was his fault. Really made him feel very uncomfortable about the whole thing...very unpleasant, not sure why anyone would give this location a 5 star ever!

Good place for our lunch stop. The fish was excellent and very well filleted. Inside was smart and outside had a small garden under trees to shelter ftom the midday sun. Reasonable price. Live musician crooned his way through our meal - not too loud but not to our taste
