Ugly and a waste of taxpayer money. How about we build some beautiful things again? The Romans and Greeks would be ashamed of us as great of a nation as we are, and this is what we build.

Love it. As a visitor I love it. As a resident some hate the cost. But appreciate all the wonderful art you have in this down.
I love Nashville and I live here. These Stix are interesting. Worth $750k? Don’t think so.
If you’re born in Nashville you hate it. If you’re a recent transplant you love it. Either way you can’t imagine a city spending $750,000 on art. But that is just the kind of city Nashville is: a city by and for artists.
Interesting side note: after looking at one of my paintings a local said she finally “got it”, finally “understood” the Stix. Perhaps public perception can change?
