A bit boggy underfoot , only to be expected with the weather, was interesting to see the tree species labeled on some of the trees as I'm learning to identify them

Somewhat disappointing. The reserve is small and can be walked around in 15 mins. It is not peaceful as you can hear passing traffic at all times. There are no playground facilities for children. Won't be going back.

Went to Bat and Moth evening. Brilliant for adults and children alike. The Bat presenter was excellent and the Moth expert enthusiastic, especially about the micro-moths. It was FREE

Rather disappointing that you can’t walk past the pool into the woodland ( except on certain dates) as the gates are locked. The fields nearby, St Cuthbert’s Well and stream are nice.

A delightful small park, with a shallow steam, with wooden bridges over, wriggling through. A pleasant stroll with plenty of resting places. Our young grandchildren loved splashing about in the stream playing with our dog.
It's a small park but you can spend a pleasant half hour there enjoying the wild flowers. Don't miss the grotto just across the road too! Recommended.
