This was a really nice place with 8 floors of exhibits and interactives! Really enjoyed my time here, definitely worth a visit.

Good newer building compared to the older science education building. It leaves much to be desired. Many exhibits are old and worn. A lot of empty space. Not sure if it's the budget or the management?

We were scolded by the workers here for allowing our 11 and 9yo kids participating art workshop without parents accompanying. We argued that we were not being informed and we couldn’t read Chinese. They said this is international law. I told them my country doesn’t have this law. The thing is, this old lady was extremely rude and our kids didn’t cause any trouble in there. She also scolded my 7yo son for touching things and said “you can’t read?” But it was written in Chinese! I’ve been to a lot of museum and this is the worst experience!

This museum requires you to purchase tickets. There are a total of 8 floors to explore such as pregnancy, cancer cells, mathematics, physics, chemistry, etc. At the 8th storey, there is an internal bridge where it is a must to walk on it.

After visiting the museum, you can have a walk at Shilin Night Market.

Have fun in learning 😊👍🏾

This place is amazing for only 100 NT an adult and 70 NT for children. It has 4 floors included in this price. They are sectioned into different themes and many of them interactive. You can also go on the weekends and there are additional activities for the kids to do for free. There is also a science show you can watch.

My son enjoyed his time at the museum. He did have a lot of fun with some of the experiments and learned a lot of new things. Very informative and I appreciate having English description for most things. However, having experienced science museums and centres in many countries, this would be the smallest and least exciting of them. I wish there is more that can be done to make this place even better. Keep up the great work and until next time.

Great place for elementary students. Easy experiments for play. Directory by sort of Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathemetics, History.
Too education for tourists. Not good place for little children or kindergarten students and not Science education parents.
Not expensive fee, only 100 TWD for adult and free for children.
Good design interior buildings.
