Visited the pandas twice because they're sleeping at first but then we came back again (few hours later) and, yeah, one still sleeping while the other one hiding its face in the back. So, I and my friends took a photo with the panda statue instead.

Also, at the 2nd floor, they have a cute cafe and souvenir shop for you to check. I bought a thick postcard for 40 NTD.

The Taipei Zoo's Giant Panda House is a remarkable attraction that allows visitors to witness the beloved giant pandas in a specially designed environment. The enclosure is designed to mimic the pandas' natural habitat, providing them with ample space and lush greenery to roam and play. Visitors can observe these adorable creatures up close, marveling at their playful antics and distinctive black and white markings. The zoo's efforts in conservation and education about pandas and their habitat contribute to the overall appeal of this popular exhibit, making it a must-visit for animal enthusiasts and tourists in Taipei.
Visited 12 September 2023 Sunny Autumn 🍁 Tuesday afternoon. The following sharing are based on our unbiased personal opinion and experience

Took my boy to the Taipei Zoo today spending some father and son bonding time together ❤️. We took the wenhu line from Nanjing Fuxing station to Taipei Zoo Station, half way through the journey the boy fell asleep 💤.

Missing all the beautiful scenery and people watching during the ride. But it's alright at least it's easier for me to manage less the crankiness 😆

We arrived the zoo in a swift without much effort and stroller friendly for the whole trip. I would say other than Japan, Taiwan 🇹🇼 is the next child friendly vacation destinations to be in.

Brought the entry ticket 🎟️ for 1 adult @ TW 60 and child enter for free. Lucky boy! The staff was friendly and helpful render assistant to all the park visitors.

I took a short break at the visitors center under the shade while waiting for my boy to enjoy his slumber. After 30min still no sign of him coming out from slumber I decided to push him around in his sleep hoping the sun 🌞 shine can wake him up.

It was really a huge zoo and we had a wonderful time discovering and animals spotting. The only down 👎 side is only the unbearable heat during this trip. Otherwise it's almost a 5 ⭐

Wonderful experience and I hope to come back with my family again in a much cooler season. ☃️

I had the most delightful experience visiting the Taipei Zoo Giant Panda House. The pandas are simply adorable, and it's evident that they are well taken care of. The staff at the zoo truly prioritize the pandas' health and happiness, creating a wonderful environment for these magnificent creatures. It was heartwarming to see how much effort goes into ensuring their well-being. Good thing we arrived while they were eating. We ate at their cafe at the second floor, which was kind of overpriced. When we checked the pandas again, it was already nap time. A visit to the Taipei Zoo Giant Panda House is an absolute treat for nature lovers and panda enthusiasts alike!

This is a huge place where 1 day is not enough to go and see the animals they have. Cheap entrance fee for only 60ntd for adults and 30nyd for children. There are a lot of different kinds of animals and the place is very hot during summer.
About transportation it's also accessible with the MRT train and bus.

The pandas were adorable! On the day I visited it was raining so the pandas were inside. I saw two of them. They were both moving around and I really enjoyed watching them! The zookeepers hid carrots for them to find so we got to see the pandas looking for those. There was a line that moved slowly through the building allowing visitors to take a lot of photos. On the day I went, there was no line to get in. There is also a bathroom, panda cafe, souvenir shop, and benches up the stairs as well as a mini souvenir stand downstairs. Highly recommend visiting!
