We had an amazing time. The staff was courteous, accommodating, pleasant, and altogether wonderful. I will definitely go back.

The restoration of the train look amazing as soon as you step into the cars you felt like you were taking back to the early 1900s. The detail on the lights, the gold trim the hand Hugh carvings the tile for carpet. The stain glass was a beautiful experience.

They are different cars based off of pricing and desired experience. We were in the car in the corner. The food was OK. Definitely recommend. Fun to do for a special date or for a family

Got a table for four in the Parlor car. The car was very nice, and the service was exceptional. Champagne, tapas plates, cheesecake, and a few libations! Would definitely recommend the upgrade to first class. The scenery was mostly woods and a stream. Two rock cutouts that are within inches of the train was interesting to see. Will be back in the future for special events. Was worth the trip and money for the experience.

For my husband’s birthday I wanted to gift him an “experience” so I booked us on the Secret Valley Expedition Irish lunch.

Was surprised it was only about an hour from us in Lower Bucks County and easy to find. When we arrived you could tell they are growing and expanding the Colebrookdale railroad to the benefit of both the cute little town and its patrons.

There was plenty of parking, and you can see how beautiful it’s going to be come late spring/summer when they fill the planters and the greenery is in full season.

Everyone there from the ladies in the ticket office to the train staff was very friendly and helpful. We had Renata to take care of us in the dining car and she was just lovely.

Entering the train car was really exciting, the care and attention that’s been given to these historic trains is clearly evident.

We absolutely loved the trip, even if we couldn’t hear all the audio for the history and key points on the excursion (over other’s conversations in the dining car) we picked up some tidbits that were very interesting. Early March is probably the least scenic time of year as all of the trees are bare and some of the homes passed need upkeep but most of the ride was still pretty with streams and mini waterfalls, amazing old homes, farms and very tight rock walls just wide enough for the train to pass through. I imagine it’s gorgeous during other months.

It was great we were able to get up after our very delicious meal and go to the open train car to feel the great weather and see more.

Btw there’s an onboard toilet as well as a nicer version of port o potties at the station. For those who hadn’t paid for the meal in the dining car (in the first class cabins) there’s also drinks and light menu fare for sale.

So I loved this train ride. The scenery was nice.

This had a nice rustic touch.

The little snacks they had to offer for standard coach were very expensive.

I get it, for a cause. The advertisement was for kettle chips $4. You get a bag of utz.

I wish the snack menu was a little more accurate.

All in all a pleasant experience.

Staff was attentive

History lesson for the first hour and timeless music on the way back.

This is a back and forth ride, no loop

Best scenic, historic railroad experience around. The train cars are lavishly restored to turn-of-the-twentieth-century glamor. They have many different excursions celebrating holidays throughout the year, with beautiful decorations to match. Meals in the dining car and small plates in the parlor car are yummy. We have taken many trips on this line and enjoy ourselves every time.

What a treat! This was a surprise gift from a friend to ride the NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS TRAIN! FIRST CLASS TICKETS in the parlor car got us hot chocolate, cookies, a specialty drink (alcohol or not, your choice) Cheesecake, Perrier water and a glass of champagne for each person! A private cabin steward and private bathroom as well! The decorations were amazing and reminded me of a Victorian Era Christmas! SANTA even made an appearance for everyone! Everything was lovely! I had such a good time and hope to go back every year! So thankful I got to experience this during the holidays! Merry Christmas 2023🎄

The experience we had on the Colebeookdale Railroad was absolutely unique and amazing. We got the cafe car dinner experience for the autumn foliage tour. Our probably only mistake was booking it after dark. Yet not being able to see out the windows allowed us to truly focus on the beautiful details of all the different cars throughout the train. It was absolutely breathtaking and we will definitely be booking another train ride again. The staff and conductors and engineers were all extremely friendly and informational which allowed our experience to be heightened even more. Seriously an amazing experience that I think all ages can enjoy.
